Here is video of Democrat Deleware Sen. Ted Kaufman appearing on a local news program where he laughed at Sarah Palin possibly being the next President, and said that most Palin backers "Don't Follow What's Really Happening."
"There are folks that are out there that are very, very upset at what's going on. I think most of them don't follow what's really happening, but they're upset, they're mad as hell and not going to take it anymore, and Sarah Palin's one that appeals to them."Kaufman said he believes most Americans know that the problems facing the country are "more complex than Sarah makes them out to be."

The government, OUR government has become overbearing and oppressive. It is taking more and more while our freedoms are becoming less and less.
So there are only two solutions to this problem and ONE of them is coming in November. If that fails, I shudder to think of the second option.

The man was being used by the elder Biden to try to pass the seat through to his son, who has now declined to run. It was a corrupt backscratching deal from day 1, when Biden Sr. didn’t retire from the Senate upon his decision to seek higher national office, as Bob Dole did in ‘96. So Joe Biden stood election in ‘08 for both VP and Senator, winning both. It is Ted (whose middle name might as well be Burris) who’d better hope people don’t pay attention, or he should be wearing tar and feathers for playing the convenient political whore who turned Delaware’s representation into a private Biden bauble.
It’s the union bully pulpit mentality.

I don’t think Senators follow what’s happening, either. Surely, they follow the ups-and-downs and other gossip. But they don’t read the bills they sign into law or anything.

I'm sure that a midnight vote on 2,000 pages of socialized medicine with special treatment for certain states, for union members, and for particular companies is more complex to the liberal mind than it looks to a conservative, but could the great elites condescend to explain it to us in simple words?

Tennessee has joined several other states in trying to pass a Health Care Freedom Act. NO COLAs for granny, retired Military or retired fed employees. BIG NEW fees for Tricare for Life retired over 65 Military's secondary health ins. (DOD bill already passed, delayed but goes into effect 2011)
New Dem mantra: Woof, woof eat dog food granny....ala let them eat cake.
