President Obama will be traveling to speak in favor of Democrats running for re-election on Thursday, February 18, 2010 in what may turn out to be a dog-and-pony show. A dog-and-pony show is defined as an elaborately staged activity, performance, presentation, or event designed to sway or convince people.

In spite of the shock on February 15, 2010 when Sen. Evan Bayh announced that he will not run for re-election, Obama still believes that he still has the power to turn around what is evidently going to be a rout for Democrats during the 2010 Congressional elections. Increasingly Democratic strategists are saying that a visit by Obama carries a risk for incumbents who are already facing angry voters.

Exactly why I think even if the 2010 elections give us the votes to impeach him, we should not, at least not until and if half the Democrats turn on him.

The problem is the Democrat’s world view. They KNOW they’re in the right. They KNOW their way is best. It’s inconceivable that everybody doesn’t SEE the world their way. Democrats appreciate diversity of opinion, until the find out there IS another viewpoint. The test of reality must be objective. If I hypothesis that, say, healthcare “reform” is good, I should be able to show why it’s good and quantify how much money it will save. The numbers all say that healthcare “reform” will cost more and deliver less. If I continue to believe otherwise I’ve crossed over from reality to faith. What type of people BELIEVE in the government’s ability to provide for us better than we can provide for ourselves? Those people are called Communists. Communists substitute State (Capital letter) for God. Once you’ve done that you can BELIEVE anything you want. Your faith can’t be questioned. Hence the dissatisfaction between those who believe in the State and those who damned well know better and can demonstrate by example why they’re right.
