Global Warming On the Ropes

Proponents of global warming in the U.K. can't seem to decide whether or not global warming is real.

From the Telegraph.co.uk

Prof Peter Liss, acting director of the University of East Anglia's Climatic Research Unit (CRU), said sceptics were endangering the lives of generations to come by making unsupported claims.

"The evidence is hugely for there being substantial climate change due to man's activities and if you want to argue against that case you have to produce some evidence."

Prof Liss spoke after the Norwich-based UEA launched an independent review of the CRU~s work.

An international furore erupted up after staff emails were stolen and posted onto the internet last year.

Climate sceptics believe they show data has been manipulated in favour of the case for man-made climate change - a claim strongly denied.

More appropriate description> Time for the "stake through the heart" of Global Warming. Or else it will be morphed into another "big lie".

East Anglia leftists keeping up the fraud. Certainly not a surprise. After all, this phony stunt represents their only means of support! Without the global warming hoax, they’d have to find real jobs!

Excellent movie you can watch on line on the Great Global Hoax:

The central thesis of the movie is that when Communism collapsed in 1989, the unemployed comrades moved into the Environmentalist movement.

Having worked for a public school system, I’ve lost all
tolerance for tax sucking parasites. It would be wonderful
to see the people who have become wealthy on this scam out
of work, or better yet starve to death.

This is certainly bad news for the Beeb, they are invested, heavily, into environmental companies. ;)

Prior to the revelations of the past few months I believe that most Americans saw the climate change research people as a well run group of scientists. What we have seen is a bunch of losers that could not get a job at Starbucks; they appear to be working from their mother’s basements and emailing each other while playing video games.

The admission of the head of this fiasco that he is a poor record keeper and has lost the relevant data is numbing. This group of zealots and their criminal masters were on the brink of the greatest hoax in world history. Well maybe the Obama hoax was a little bigger but the climate hoax is still pretty big.

Cold snap killing Florida’s coral reefs
Mon Feb 15, 6:37 pm ET
MIAMI (AFP) – The polar snap enveloping much of the United States in record cold has been killing off coral reefs in the normally balmy warm waters off the Florida Keys, experts said Monday.

The unusually chilly weather so far this year has seen sea temperatures plummet in southern Florida — a fatal development for the coral, which dies when exposed for an extended time to temperatures below 15 degrees Celsius (59 degrees Fahrenheit).

We talked to friends who had spent the last two plus weeks in the Grand Bahamas, and they said it was darn cold there:

Grand Bahama Experiences Cold Snap
By Courtnee Romer
It was not nearly as cold as it was in the north-east United States, but Grand Bahama residents were yesterday bracing for another day of what meteorologists called the coldest snap of this winter season.
According to meteorologist, Trinard Tynes of the Freeport Weather Department, yesterday saw a high of 60 degrees Fahrenheit, with a wind chill factor making it feel like 48 degrees.

Some residents enjoyed the cool weather, dressing in warm jackets, caps, and even mittens.

But one resident, Patrick Laing, said he did not even need the extra attire as this type of weather suits him just fine.

“I’m enjoying this cold weather very much. I don’t like it when it’s hot because I get sticky; it makes me feel uncomfortable and restless. It seems like there is nothing to cool you down,” Mr. Laing said.

Another resident, Faye Laing, admitted that “it’s kind of cold” but she was enjoying it, while another resident, Khambrel Farrington, said this weather was “good cuddling weather”, just in time for Valentine’s Day.

“I don’t mind this at all,” Mr. Farrington said.

Ashburne Lewis, another Grand Bahamian, echoed similar sentiments.

“I’m enjoying it a lot, but in the evening time, I stay inside because it gets real cold and I bundle up or should I say, cuddle up,” Mr. Lewis said.

But another resident said it was just too cold and she was not enjoying the weather all.

In fact, it was so cold that District Superintendent of Freeport, Sandra Edgecombe, dismissed all public schools in her district half day on Monday because of the weather.

Mrs. Edgecombe told The Bahama Journal that “it was unbearably cold” and some students were not dressed appropriately for the weather. She said that some of the schools’ windows were not closing properly and so she felt the need to dismiss school.

Mrs. Edgecombe, who was bundled up herself, said she also asked the principals to be lenient in what the children will wear today, saying that if the weather persisted schools may also get out half today.

Mr. Tynes said last night was expected to be the coldest night of the week, with temperatures expected to plunge to 48 degrees Fahrenheit, with the wind chill factor making it feel like 35.

“Not only did we just recently have a passage of a strong cold front that brought all the cold temperatures, we have a secondary frontal boundary that has rapidly slipped through some time [Sunday] morning and all it did for this second one was to keep the colder temperatures over us. The winds are also going to stay on the strong side,” Mr. Tynes said.

However, for residents who prefer the warmer weather, good news is on the way.

Mr. Tynes said as the week continues it should get progressively warmer.

For the month of February, the lowest temperature recorded was 41.7 degrees in 1996, although the coldest day on record for Grand Bahama was 39, when it snowed in January 1977.

Amen brother. my sister and brother-in-law just got back from Bermuda for a weeks stay. Only once did Jim get to play golf, and that was wearing a sweater. They only had one decent/shirt sleezes day and that was out on the ocean deep sea fishing.

Boy, would they be in trouble! I’d wager at least half of ‘em aren’t qualified to pump gas.

Our friends fortunately had two changes of winter clothes for their trips from our airports and back.

Two years ago, my trophy wife and I were on a cruise ship on the West Coasts of Mexico, called the Mexican Riveria. The three cruise stops were during the coldest weather in decades, and the military guarded shipments of fleece to the Walmart and Sams in one of the ports.

One of the excursion options was a snorkling and kayak venture south of Puerto Val.. My wife couldn’t believe that I didn’t bring a swim suit for the dive and at least get on a kayak. Within about 5 minutes every snorkler was back on the catamaran and sporting a chilling blue skin color. A few minutes later the kayakers started coming in with the same color. Within about 15 minutes no one was in or on the water.

Later, an engineering officer on the cruise ship, laughed when I questioned him about Gorebull Warming. He said there had been no water temp increase for ten years and some record setting drops in the past couple of years.

Prof Peter Liss, acting director of the University of East Anglia’s Climatic Research Unit (CRU), said sceptics were endangering the lives of generations to come by making unsupported claims.

“The evidence is hugely for there being substantial climate change due to man’s activities and if you want to argue against that case you have to produce some evidence.”

Ok fine, let’s do it your way,

DECLARE UNDER PENALTY OF TREASON AND COMPLETE CIVIL ASSET FORFEITURE THAT ALL YOUR CLAIMS ARE BASED ON HARD SCIENCE AND ALL DATA AVAILABLE. AND THAT NO DATA HAS BEEN ALTERED OR LEFT OUT.

Deafening Silence

San Diego had only one shirt sleeve day when my girlfriend and I went there for Christmas vacation.

The scam of the century is nosediving and anyone who has traveled to supposedly warmer climes in the past coupla years, KNOWS IT.

"The evidence is hugely for there being substantial climate change due to man's activities and if you want to argue against that case you have to produce some evidence."

I really have zero respect for presumed "scientists," or administrators of groups of "scientists," who violate who violate the most elementary rules of reason and logic. Yes, mathematically a negative can be "proven" (spare me the sophistry, guys) but proving that something does not exit in the real world is simply not possible.

An example, that even progressives should be able to understand: "hostile aliens walk among us, so to save mankind, we must kill all blonds; the risk is too great to do nothing! We are "endangering the lives of generations to come" by making the unsupported claim that aliens among us don't exist. "

Prove that aliens do not walk among us.

As for the assertion that ""The evidence is hugely for there being substantial climate change due to man's activities..." assertions are not worth a bucketful of spit. All such "evidence" has been shown to be manipulated, selectively chosen to get a predefined answer and in extreme cases invented out of thin air!

Seems as if this co-conspirator, the acting director of the University of East Anglia's Climatic Research Unit (CRU) Peter Liss, needs to be investigated himself. After being replaced, of course.
