Who is the worst killer in the long, ugly history of war and extermination? Hitler? Stalin? Pol Pot? Not even close. A single book called Silent Spring killed far more people than all those fiends put together.
Published in 1962, Silent Spring used manipulated data and wildly exaggerated claims (sound familiar?) to push for a worldwide ban on the pesticide known as DDT which is, to this day, the most effective weapon against malarial mosquitoes.
The resulting explosion of mosquito-borne malaria in Africa has claimed over sixty million lives.

I wonder how many people 'An Inconvenient Truth' will kill?
Hopefully not as many! A lot of folks (not enough yet) are seeming to wise up to the scam.
My mom was born in 1910. She grew up in St. Louis. Everyone had bed bugs when she was growing up. She said that DDT eliminated the problem completely. Since bed bugs are being brought into this country now, we may all be wishing we could use DDT again.
That will still make Rachel Carson runner-up to Mao. He killed 80 million and has more than just a bridge in Pittsburgh named after him.
The vast majority of the malaria victims were black and, from the liberal point of view, they were expendable. They could not vote for Democrats and were therefore of no use to the liberals. If you think this is a crude smear on the liberals, just what are they doing here in America to blacks that might vote for them in a couple of decades? They are aborting them as fast as they can.
>> This reminds me of the Doctor Who episode The Green Death. <<
LOL!!!
Great post! I first read about this back in the 70’s or 80’s in a book called “The Disaster Lobby.” It is probably available in used book sites. I highly reccomend it to anybody who can find a copy.
