No, Andrea Fay Friedman, the word is "hateful."
And your laughter over it is called "perversion."
I am going to reach the conclusion that she is not presidential material if she spends too much of her time talking about the insults thrown at her family (Remember Ross Perot?) and wants to comment about people saying "effin retard".
These people that criticize her for reacting would probably criticize her for not defending her family if she didn’t respond. They hate her for not having an abortion, for having faith, for hunting, for being a Republican, for running for VP, for being a woman with a career, for being too motherly, for being not motherly enough. Nothing that she does escapes their attention and disapproval. Everything anyone who is with her does is scrutinized for hidden messages of antagonism toward her.
She should just be herself, and react as she feels appropriate. When they go so far as to use Down’s Syndrome children to attack her, they have jumped off the cliff. They are really attacking every family when they use children. Which of us has perfect children?
You talk like a victim. She gets to choose. She can either be in public and have her family be subjected to this stuff or she can go away and make it stop. She cannot be on the public stage making policy statements that make people mad (not me, but her opposition and their base), then play little miss offended every time someone tries to get to her.
We are becoming a nation of feminized victims
How about this - she defends disabled children, she says whatever the hell she wants, she wins the presidency in a cheering landlside, she kicks your employers out on their asses, and then you have to go pump gas instead of shilling for Leftists on Free Republic.
I'd say more, but then I might get nasty.
I think it is a mistake for Palin haters to react with gratuitous remarks.
BTW you say everytime, Do you know every remark and everytime Sarah replied.
These arn’t just a passing comment someone didn’t think through but are deliberate calculated remarks.
It must stop not just for Sarah and her son but for anyone who has a family member who has challenges.
Since you don’t read Sarah’s several articles each week on the War, energy issues, fighting Obamacare, etc many of which are op eds in the Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, etc. and daily on FB, you are out of touch
When I first heard of this, my first thought was what would Dale and Roy had thought about this. It was this couple who brought these angels out in public. Before that, they were kept hidden in the house. It was little Robin who touched so many millions of lives and still does. The family taught me to be thankful for my good health, etc.
No, I do not. You propose a FALSE choice for Palin: either put up with trash talking your defenseless baby or get out of politics.
Palin chooses to BOTH defend her child, AND make policy statements. She is not playing "Little Miss Offended" -- that's your false characterization of her expression of outrage.
She gets to do both. She is not bound by your rules, she makes her own.
You are full of crap.
Your comments are proof of an unhinged person
who is part of the fringe. the same type who
helped elect Obama
BTW
Sarah’s oldest son recently returned from a year serving in Iraq.
while you play keyboard commando
I remember reading the book. Robin only lived to be two, as I recall.
This guy represents the attitude that has destroyed our society.
anything goes, no standards. and they just accept that. It is because of people like this that our culture is so screwed up.
this guy does not believe in fighting back for fighting for anything.
a coward
Big deal, I just watched the scene. For those who haven’t, Chris goes out on a date with a mentally challenged girl, he asks her about her parents, she replies my dad is an accountant, and my mother is the ex governor of Alaska. How is that not obscure? Trig is a boy, and not everyone knows of him.
Agreed. Evidently he thinks Sarah should “shut up and take it.” Bull.
We shouldnt just accept that standards are so low. We should fight to make standards higher !
Neither do the writers for Family Guy.
