Two Options Left, Stop It Ourselves or Revolution

Posted on 03/17/2010 1:30:57 PM PDT by TheNewPatriot

I see only one of two options to stop this hideous, onerous, and unconstitutional bill masquerading as healthcare reform. Know this, there is nothing, and I mean nothing in this bill that will reform, improve, or expand healthcare. If you’re naïve enough to think otherwise, then you’re beyond help and do not have the ability to think rationally nor do you understand the Constitution. Not only is the mandate in this bill unconstitutional to force FREE citizens (for now) to buy healthcare, so is the process they’re trying to use to ram this up our butt. What they are planning shreds the Constitution. If they plan on deeming (pretending) it passed, then I plan on deeming that I paid my taxes as well. If they want to play the game of lawlessness, then I’m happy to join the game and play lawlessness as well. That means that there is no way in hell I am buying their healthcare and I am not paying their fine. So what remains? I will officially exercise my Second Amendment rights and I won’t be going to jail either. You can figure out the rest, use you imagination. Think showdown at the OK corral when they come knocking.

Now, there are only two options left to stop this insanity of a government and a banana republic President (President, that’s a joke, he has the credibility of a parasite, as far as I’m concerned he’s a piece of human excrement) run amuck and ignoring the majority of America. One, if they pass this, its game over and you better prepare for your new national anthem (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=91kdwxFsthI&feature=related) because the land of the free will no longer exist and you better start thinking about another revolution like that of those who founded this country. That means exactly what you think. If you know anything about this country’s history (which is unlikely for most thanks to the land of academia), the revolution started for a lot less than what these Bolsheviks are planning with their assault on America. The other option since the Communists (formally the Democratic Party) refuse to listen to the people they represent (this is a representative republic, not a dictatorship or a socialist democracy) is to storm the house whenever they feel they are ready to vote and stop it ourselves. Truthfully, I’m not really ready to take up arms, not until it’s the final recourse. So the last civil option and second to the last resort is to stop it ourselves. They cannot deny or use deadly force to stop the American public from entering that chamber. They do not own it, nor are we subservient to them. They work for us and it’s time to put that fear back in their arrogant minds. Which means if they won't do the job we want, and right now that means dropping this, then we only have one choice, stop it ourselves.

The basic framework of the Constitution and form of government (Representative Republic) I wouldn’t change. I would change various wordings to bring it up to date to modern vernacular though to make it easier to understand.

For example the 2nd Amendment would say something like “The rights of The People to keep and bear arms such as used in the defense of home, community and country shall not be infringed”

Leave the words “militia” out of it as that got perverted by politicians and wacko groups. Leave out “well regulated” as regulated now (laws saying what you can and can’t do) doesn’t mean the same as it did then (well trained, properly working, etc).

Add in the words “used in defense of home, community and country” to strike out anti-gunners saying the founders only intended us to have muzzle loaders. If the military and police have them, The People can have them.

I’m all for penalties (even very harsh ones) for using those weapons to commit crimes or destruction, but restricting law abiding people from having them to prevent possible future crimes is not what our founding fathers had in mind.

That’s just one thing I’d change (or reword) among many.

None of that requires a revolution. The Constitution provides an amendment process. If everyone resorted to revolution just because they couldn’t get an amendment passed, that wouldn’t be a very stable system.

Just called Salomon Ortiz’s Office and his lil butt boy laughed at me when I told him that if Salomon supports and votes for OBAMACARE and it passes “I will not comply” and will not pay the fines and will reject any deals... I will go to prison before I submit and I will not submit after that either.

(Went without saying that I wouldn’t vote for him or JR)

The government has much more fire power than the people. In the other revolution the people and the government were much closer to being even.

Those serving in the military who would support an action like this may be able to check out and return home but they wouldn’t be allowed to take their weapons. Those that remain like the current government and I don’t think it would be a fair fight.

Obama and his followers are going to do what they want and there’s nothing we can do about it. This great nation is great no more. It’s almost over. I hope I’m wrong.

Re: 2nd amendment. I have a better fix. Instead of listing more purposes (which still infers that there are purposes that are not included), just knock out the first clause and leave the rest and it's an absolute right.

The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.

There are revolutions and there are rebellions, the former requiring organization, which in this country pretty much has to come from states, which we are seeing in the form of bills that declare independence from mandatory, federal healthcare, the tea party movement and so on. There is going to arms in the streets, but without organization and political purpose, that is just rebellion or anarchy. Who do you shoot, a cop, a soldier, a teacher, your neighbor, anyone with an Obama sticker...? That kind of insanity goes on in Third World countries all the time, and it doesn’t do them much good. There is passive resistance, like not paying taxes, not going to work, sit ins, marches, all of which have their place, but you need goals, social, political and economic targets, like changing the educational and information institutions, like the left did. The left has staged a slow but steady takeover of institutions for more than fifty years. The left owns our universities, most of our media, our public education and much of the day-by-day bureaucratic government, not to mention most of our federal agencies. The only way to get it all back is by winning hearts and minds and educating people to think and love liberty and getting liberty loving people into those positions. That will take generations of change and undoing what the left has done. It is happening in the media with FOX and the Internet, and the disconnect the American people have with the state media. We will have to have the same kind of movement with educators and our universities. ...Third party political movements may make statements, but they aren’t going to change the nation, other than making the job the left is doing easier for them. The left has had its fringe parties, but their goal has always been the complete takeover of the Democratic Party, and it has worked for them. Any serious conservative/constitutional revolution will require the complete takeover of the Republican Party, that requires getting people involved with local politics and political organizing, cities, counties, state and federal government. There has been a revolution going on in this country and internationally that has worked very well, and we on the right would do well to look at how it has worked, because that revolution’s benefactors control Washington right now, and they control the education of our young people. Turning this tide is going go require a lot of planning, hard work and patience. The left has almost won the war, and if we lose the battle of 2010 and 2012, they may get it all. Let’s spend our time and energy wisely, towards winning some elections and displacing the left, fighting them politically and culturally and moving people back towards liberty and sanity.

The rank and file would probably return home, rather than fight against their parents, who are likely conservatives.

The real question is, what would the Generals do? That is why the removal of Zeyala in Honduras was successful...the Generals supported it.

A parallel government needs to be established so that they could step in immediately.

There are others.

1. The courts

2. The states

3. The underground economy

4. 2010 election

It is important that you get involved in the 2010 election. Quit looking at the effing White House or even the Federal govt all the time and trying to go for the brass ring.

The Founders set up a divided govt for a reason. Exploit it. GET INVOLVED IN YOUR STATE ELECTIONS!!!!

There are already states moving to nullify health care. If we have conservative majorities in enough of them - what will Obama do? Send out the military? States have national guards and can call up citizens to the militia.

Same with the county. Your county sheriff is the highest ranking public official in your county. Make sure you have friendly leaders.

There is no time for crying, whining, getting PO’d, or going thru a bunch of dramatics. Get involved, develop some strategy.

This won’t be won by blunt shovel tactics. We gotta get smart.

I don’t think it’s been ignored as much as it’s been used to national advantage. I think the obvious flaws and loopholes have been continually exploited, all using the powers granted by the system (e.g., judicial review).

So the last civil option ...

There are several civil options available through the state legislatures. Thirty-three states, maybe more, have already started some form of anullment of the HealthScare non-Bills. Two govornors, VA and ID, have signed, and more will be along shortly.

Several states have passed and signed into law some form of prohibitions against federal interference in their intrastate firearm business. More will be along shortly.

About 99% of everything the federal government does is unconstitutional, and the state legislatures and governors, working together, have the powers to rein in the insanity. They need to use it, and there is no time to waste.

The people and the states have to declare, and keep declaring, their sovereignty over their federal creature, ever reminding their federal creature that, "we brought you into this world, and we can take you out of it, or replace you with a more obedient set of employees."

And here are toll-free numbers we can use to call any Senators or Reps.

At the first number below you must wait through a tape recording urging you to tell your Rep or Senator to vote “yes” for the health care bill. Just hang on and when the recording is over, you will get the Capitol operator. Just ask for your Rep or Senator’s office. Then you will either talk to an aid or have the chance to leave a message for him/her to vote NO on the health care bill.

When you use the second number and the Capitol operator comes on, just ask for your Rep or Senator’s office. Every time I use this number I get the Rep or Senator’s answer machine, so it may be set up that way all the time...to go to their answer machine. Either way you can leave a message to vote NO on the health care bill!

We need to use these toll free numbers that have been set up for the health care/ BO supporters and illegals to use! After all they are FREE!

“I agree. The Constitution is a total failure when it comes to limited powers. That’s a proven fact. So, what shall we replace it with?”

I don’t know. The progressives may have found the fatal flaw in any system of representative limited government. If, somehow, we could make America limited government again, the odds are that a generation or two from now, a new group of progressives would blow the whole thing up again, with the consent of the governed. They just keep trying and eventually they get enough power for enough time to ruin things.

If you have to look at a turning point in American history, it was when women got to vote. I know that’s not PC. But the progressive argument has consistently made sense to women and gotten very little traction among men. The progressive experiment in America probably never would have occurred had the franchise been limited to men.

Women’s suffrage seemed and seems like a really good idea. But objectively it may have been the single decision America made that relegated a republic of limited powers to the dustbin of history.

The American revolution was pretty much a single point in history. Revolutions usually end up a lot less successful than the American revolution, even if well-intended (by that I mean the French revolution was a well-intended failure but the Russian revolution was evil thru and thru—and a failure also). Sooner or later, even if the intention is good, here comes Robespierre.

I see the ratification of the Constitution as the turning the point. Since then it's been just a slow, continual fait accompli.

The key to limiting government is to not create a big one. That was the mistake of the framers. They thought they could keep the lion in the cage, when in reality you just can't allow there to be a lion.

A confederacy of states is the way to go. Let the progressives f up their own states. No national government---just a confederation. No house of reps. No direct taxes. Expressed powers only. No permanent judiciary.
