If you can't afford private school for your children
03202010

Any couple considering having children nowdays should think TWICE about doing so. Have you thought about having submit your children to the INDOCTRINATION of our public schools? How about SPANISH and MUSLIM influences? Is LEFT WING LIBERAL BIAS BS that is in the curriculum of any concern?

My 2 cents...

If you can't afford private school, don't have children.

If you do have children and you can't afford private school, I wish you luck, but you will need MUCH more than luck to survive baby!

Oh, so instead of homeschooling my children, I should never have had them! Damn my lack of planning!

Thanks! I suspect that most people who homeschool do have more children than is common. ;-)
With only five, I’m a piker!

While private and parochial school are great, they are only part of the picture. If you really want kids, and are having difficulties with the demographics in your area, consider moving for their sake. Not every area is overrun with spanish speaking people, and in some areas, even the public schools are relatively good.

The idea of not raising your own children (and educating them to what is truth and what are lies) to combat the socialist-indoctrinated later means you have conceded the field to the Socialists. We are already being outbred by the unassimilated, not having children will not improve the long-term prognosis for the Republic.

Having and educating children is a sacrifice and a blessing. Somebody has to train the next generation to be good citizens. The best thing we could do is have four children per couple and educate them as if it were a priority of the highest order. We get what we sow.

Great points, thank you for your opinion.

Private schools are much cheaper than public schools. The guy changing light bulbs at a public school makes $80,000 a year.

I have done it. It can be done. I have four conservative, morally upright children. My three boys are Eagle Scouts. My daughter graduated from Hillsdale College. And all of them still go to church every week. It was not an easy job but I can honestly say that society as a whole is better off for my effort.

Advising conservative Christian couples to not have children is stupid advice.

Most young children know garbage when they see it, and better when they are exposed to it. You raise your children not to judge so much as discern. Show them the folly of the pop culture crap, expose the lies on the tube, let them know you have their best interests at heart and open their eyes to the truth. They will ever thank you for it, though maybe not at the time. It involves spending time with them, though, not preaching so much as asking questions designed to bring them to the conclusions you want them to see(Socratic method).

If they can rationally express the flaws in liberal logic, are well versed in English and can explain the concepts in the founding documents and if they can read and interpret scripture (I'd reccommend church if not parochial school), they can handle the delicate business of poking and prodding the balloon of liberalism and let the air out of it without subjecting themselves to the vindictiveness of the Liberals entrenched in educational institutions (kids tend to be really good at pushing right up to the limit, but not going over the line). If you can't afford private or parochial school, that is a key to survival.

What a horrible thing to say! My children are the light of my life and I would not want to live in a world where I did not have children. Having them was better than I even dreamed. Any other love is mere dress rehearsal for the love you feel for your child.

One can homeschool. Government schools are not the only thing out there.

The future of America is a race between two elites: I suspect those with God on their side have an advantage over the self-declared enemies of the Eternal One.

[1] A busload of T&G kids who attend a local residential school come to our church. I ask them how things are going at Janissary school -- with a smile, of course. Sharp kids, who may or may not realize that they are being trained up as specialized, high-functioning tools.

Have as many kids as you can, people, and teach them at home. Defeat the population control efforts of the rich socialists.

You’re kidding right? Little too much melodrama for FR, though it would probably play well ad DU. Homeschooling is a wonderful option. I did it. Best decision I ever made.

Are you talking about those folks whose houses look like they're decorated for woodland fantasy creatures and have more than ten televisions in them? ...those who get their incomes from big government? Yeah, living in such insulated environments, their liberal heads probably aren't screwed on quite right.

Home school.

Seven children. All home schooled (two of them home birthed!)

Total medical costs for the births of our seven children born between 1977 and 2001? Under $2,500.00 !!

We’ve been home schooling since 1982. We still have two at home. Total curriculum costs to date? Under $2,500.00 !!
