That is not exactly a reality show now is it? A travelogue in the style of the Discovery Channels Life or Planet Earth is a little different than watching problem ridden B actors, on their last leg of stardom, self-destruct before a voyeuristic audience.
I dont watch much television but I did catch part of the new Life documentary on Discovery the other night. It was interesting and very well produced. Anyone that knows me will tell you that I wouldnt waste my time watching reality TV or tabloid gossip shows. Documentaries are a much different variety of entertainment that usually include some sort of educational attribute.
So why do I have no trouble making the distinction between two very different forms of programming while story after story keeps coming from the press that repeats the meme that Governor Palin is getting some reality show?
Because I am not a leftist disguised as a journalist pushing an agenda to prospective voters. Unfortunately many in the public still believe an objective press exists but the journalists that can still claim that mantle honestly, are few and far between.

The only true reality shows are good quality nature programs, and travelogues. But because now there is something sleazy about the words Reality show, that is what the media chooses to describe her show.
I don't think Palin could bake an apple pie without the airhead media finding fault in it.
Sorry fellow, we got freepers here who know that it is a “reality show” because they heard it from trusted MSM, it has nothing to do with their dislike for Palin.. /s
This isn’t even worth a ping./s
The MSM really tore it for me with their ‘Sarah Palin getting a reality show’ meme. Of course they wanted people to think it would be something like “John and Kate”, or “Anna Nicole”. But this is a nature documentary about Alaska with Sarah Palin’s name on it: “Sarah Palin’s Alaska” They knew that.
The first issue I have with your statement is “trusted MSM” - there’s an Oxy-Moron.
The name “Reality Show” is like the name “Health Care Reform”. What we call reality shows are entertainments that have little or nothing to do with every day reality, and what socialists call health care reform has little or nothing to do with our health. Palin’s show would be a documentary series, and I’d guess a good one although I don’t have cable so I wouldn’t even have the option to watch her.
did you see the /s....? Sarcasm, buddy
