It may depend on whether information is “lost” in black hole. As black holes appear to be at the cores of galaxies, giving them structure, it would seem that that their masses (energy) and hence the information contained therein should be conserved. It would be interesting to determine how that squares with univeral entropy increase, unless they do radiate by some quantum factor, and the proton eventually decays....

Sure. Let’s look at a snowflake. What about a snowflake is random? The chemical bonds of hydrogen with oxygen make the molecules join at just such an angle as to create a symmetrical snowflake. Each one is different but mathematically symmetrical EVERY time. Snowflakes are a study in design. Notice how each one is a perfectly symmetrical hexagram. Amazing.
