In one of the more anticipated moves of this early mid-term election season, Sarah Palin endorsed Florida’s Lt Col Allen West for Congress. Sarah also took the time to highlight all of the heroic Americans who have left military life and now wish to serve our great nation in the capacity of lawmaker.

Along with Lt.Col West, one of the most popular candidates for office this season, Sarah also highlighted the campaigns of Major Vaughn Ward and Captain Adam Kinzinger...

Since Sarah has a son in military service, she has a real soft spot for veterans - those who serve to keep us free. I have had many "mad moments" with McCain, but I really believe it's more than "she is super loyal" or "she owes him her fame". I really think she respects what he suffered through in Viet Nam and his service to his country.

We can criticize his policies, but most of us will never know what it is to be tortured and imprisoned for close to a decade. I think that is what touches Sarah's heart more than anything.

Wearing the uniform, and behaving with decorum while doing so, counts for a lot with Sarah. This is the side of her support of John McCain, You will note, however, that the wearing of the uniform by John Kerry does not merit nearly as much admiration in her eyes.

It might not have been the sole reason, but if definitely gave the Democrats a leg-up on fundraising and limited the free speech of conservative groups which was McCain's goal all along in retribution for Pro-Life and other groups attacking him during his 2000 presidential run.

It happens.

I have a Toshiba laptop and a Brother label-tape maker that prints white on one-inch wide black tape. I was pleased to find that a label that reads “PALINISTA” in 48-pt letters quite handily covers the word “TOSHIBA” on the lid.

Tonight when I get home I’m going to add a US, Gadsden, and Israeli flag to the lid. Come the weekend I may spend part of the day at a local wifi hotspot, looking for popping libheads.

I think West’s problem was fund rasing but he has caught up to Klein.

Based on the polls from FL - it appears people HATE ObamaCare. 25% of seniors support it and 32% of Floridians.

Even liberal NY transplants hate it. Col West has a good shot.

I haven’t seen any polling data. The current Congressman Klein defeated West in 08 55% to 45%. Klein was a freshman that year. Obama got 52% in the district thus it appears to have some flexibility.

Sarah said she agreed with McCain on immigration. What are we supposed to do with that? She’s thrown us quite a hot potato and now we have to deal with it. It’s great if she wants to support conservatives, but she’s lost some luster for me.
