Air America, Gone But Not Forgotten…Except that You Are Totally Forgotten

It was but only a short six years ago today that Air America first began arriving over the airwaves and to your ears. That is if you lived in the small micro-chasm that actually had it on the dial when it first aired. Even though you showed promising growth the first two years, but eventually lying about the amount of venture capital you had was your undoing. Oh wait, that’s not right, you’re undoing was your abysmal ratings...

Ah yes, brings back so many memories. On March 31, 2004, Air America went on the air, with the expressed purpose of enabling the defeat of George W. Bush in his re-election in 2004.

And they wanted to gain a foothold in the world of talk radio. With so much diversity of political opinion in this country, they thought for sure they would gain an audience. And the way the liberals mock people such as Rush Limbaugh, they thought for sure that their enlightened, reasoned discussion of issues would attract listeners.

But it didn’t work out for them. I wonder why.............

Nothing is gone until Ed Schultz, Randi Rhodes, Bill Press, Mike Malloy, Norman Goldman, and several more idiots from the left not affiliated with Air America, are also searching the want ads.
