Yes I know what you’re thinking, didn’t Henry Rollins die a long time ago? Well apparently not, because a magazine called Cincinnati Magazine (clever name) stuck a microphone in his face and let this aging rocker spout out some nonsense. Here is just a taste:

His headbanging brain rattled around inside his empty skull for too long.

Beavis and Butthead were really impressed with his thick neck. Huh-huh.

I went to go see Henry Rollins on one of his spoken word tours about 6 years ago.

He was on stage for about 2-1/2 hours. Most of what he talked about were hilarious stories about the entertainment industry (one story about Ozzy Ozbourne had me rolling on the floor) and stuff he's seen while traveling around the world.

Maybe 20 minutes of his show was political. This article notwithstanding, I got the distinct impression that he was more libertarian than anything else. For instance, he went OFF on Ted Kennedy, really excoriated (and correctly, IMHO) the guy for leaving Mary Jo in that car.

I enjoyed the show. He's really tightly wound, but I liked his stories.

Besides, anyone who puts their money where their mouth is - he's active in a lot of different charities, as well as USO tours - gets some respect in my book.

This is from the bottom of the page. I think it says it all.

Yeah, big muscle-headed dope! Mr. Actor Man! (obscure Howard Stern reference)

I prefer the Ron Reyes/Dez Cadena era Black Flag anyway.

I saw him around the same time as you...and his rant on Teddy really stuck with me. He’s an interesting guy. A little full of himself, but so are most people in the spotlight.

He had a documentary on his stand up spoken word performance in Israel... filmed somewhat recently, Henry Rollins: Uncut from Israel (2007) (TV). It was really bad, insultingly stupid, and teenagers who spent their IDF weekend pass were mocking him within minutes.

Anyway.... he came off as a spoiled middle aged pompous prick and lost the audience really quickly.

If he thinks Cheney is a “war criminal,” then how can he go and “support” the troops? Doesn’t make sense to me. If the whole deal is a crime, then the soldiers are at least accessories to the crime. The lib mind is a convoluted, confused thing. I guess it’s from all that post-modernist crapola they swallow.

A couple of gang bangin’”Bruvahs” in L.A. robbed him, and killed his best friend Joe Cole at their house in 1991. Ol’ Smackmeat ran out the door and escaped while his friend bled out. Wonder why he doesn’t run his big yap over the people who did that? Wouldn’t be PC, I guess. Dick Cheney never did anything like that to him> I guess he’s a safer target......

Ron Reyes, aka Chavo Pederast, is now a Christian minister, I believe.

Keith Morris 'Flag was pretty good as well. But it was Rollins who sang on the first full length album (Damaged), so he is considered the "classic" lead singer.

I blame Rollins for turning Flag into a Heavy Metal band with "My War" and "Slip it In."

Well, Henry Rollins has been known to associate with Abraham Lincoln and George Washington.
