Tatyana Anodina, the head of the Interstate Aviation Committee, which oversees aviation in the former Soviet Union, denied reports that the pilot made three or four attempts to land, and said he made only one. She urged the public not to trust unofficial sources on the cause of the crash.

In Poland, meanwhile, some members of the late president’s Law and Justice Party remained suspicious of the Russian inquiry. Jolanta Szczypinska, one of the party’s senior members, called for a nonpartisan, international commission to investigate.

Ms. Szczypinska, who gave up her seat on the flight just hours before it took off, said she had been informed by Polish journalists at the crash site that Russian authorities demanded that witnesses who had been waiting to greet the dignitaries hand over their cameras and cellphones.

“I have flown many times on that plane and I knew the pilots, and I am convinced that it wasn’t a pilot’s mistake that led to this tragedy,” she said in an interview on Thursday. “It is disturbing the way the Russian side has been communicating, issuing statements, and how they had their version of events from the beginning. It is very strange, and we expect answers.”

This might sound really stupid but how were they able to identify the President of Poland so quickly and have him in a fancy coffin????? It did not look to me like many people could be identified so fast.

Actions and consequences to this degree i cannot easily lay blame to those who set up the sellout or changed the course of things to where it came to this.
I do not yet understand. It is Biblical. It is sacrifice to some larger purpose. It is perhaps only Poles can see this.It may be that their friend has changed or it’s brushed aside like thousands before.(X!) Their frends change all the time. They had pacts with what became the Allies and were invaded by the Germans and eventually nearly slaughtered militarily. They had agreements with the Russians who were at the outskirts of the battles and sat there and let the nazis destroy them before.. before.
Everybody knows this now. They were soon enemies the soviets and national socialists so they both carved Poland up. It was blamed on the nazis and found to be the soviets that thousands of all the officer corps and planners or politicians or anything Polish were murdered while prisoners and covered up en masse in different places.
One big one was the katyn forest and those trees grew of Polish blood, lead, stuff.
I have no right to speak of these things as if i was there.

There are allies who just get murdered and those who don’t. It’s not really murder just a set of circumstance which just happened to fall together. I mean it wasn’t like the plane had escorts and anything that may diss anyone off. I don’t think Prez obama would allow hisself and np,re,eh,bf,or many of these together nor would security stand for it. There are different standards you must understand for a Country careening into socialism and one clawing itself out of it.

She pretty much feels the same way I do about it all from the beginning.  I thought it was really strange that Putin delegated himself the head of the commission that was going to investigate the crash.
