Ed Rendell: Tea Party Crowds are Pathetic

Posted on 04/24/2010 9:15:43 AM PDT by jazminerose

Ed Rendell on FNC just said he could hold a rally to increase federal legislation to protect puppies & draw at least 100,000.

He's trying to downplay the size of the turnout at the Tea Party events, calling it "pathetic" & pointing out there is no "leadership" & no "infrastructure." (Eddie's not clear on the concept).

Amazing.

One wonders what all the hysteria on the left has been about if the Tax Day rally only drew a couple of "hundred" people.

Do it up, Big Ed. Show us what you got, because we are most definitely going to show you what we got.

In other words, it's grass roots.

It appears that Alinsky Rules don't work very well when attacking large groups...

We're getting to the point where rallies need to occupy intersections and public transportation facilities. Bring Washington to a standstill. Nothing moves at all in the city.

Then they can tell us that we're small, pathetic, and don't matter.

Are the crowds bigger or smaller than the anti-war hippies during the Bush years?

He's used to rallies where labor unions haul in supporters on buses, and that's the "infrastructure" he's talking about ,too.

Oh, what a relief it will be when he is no longer governor and can become a full time Obamazoid. No leadership, no infrastructure; he really doesn’t get it; poor eddie just can’t figure it out. :-(

If the Tea parties are so insignioficant why are the Democrats so frightened. Why dont they just ignore them?

Good point.

I’d also point out that it wasn’t long ago that the Tea Parties were funded by the insurance companies to do their bidding.

Fascinating.

Yes, they are afraid of the tea parties.

Ed Rendell is the one who is pathetic.

He’ll be gone soon.

Stick to saving puppies, Ed, something that I agree with you with. Other than that, step off.

Check out the post by Darren McCarty. (3rd from the top)

Organizing for Obama is putting on a push for my district. You’ll notice they speak of Tim Walberg putting on a town hall “close to us” which seems to indicate they plan to come from outside the district.

As opposed to Democrats in government, who are not pathetic, but laughable.

That’s my question. Sounds like the Tea Parties should be easy for the demtards to simply ignore.
