Looks like “Death Wish” + “Dirty Harry” + “Gran Torino.”
Add to that the fact that the story is set in the UK, where the guns used by the protagonist are massively illegal. :)
This is the sort of review from some left-tard that makes me want to see this movie (”Harry Brown”)

I love Michael Caine (in a brotherly sense) and it sounds like a Brit version of Torino.
“Zulu” and the “Man who Would Be King” still hold up after these many years.
“Harry Brown” sounds like the first movie in a long time that I really want to go see.
It will be interesting to see what it does at the box office.
don’t know how good it will be, but I’ll be looking forward to Nightmare On Elm Street coming out on DVD as it was partially filmed at my High School Alma Mater! :)
