The 5000 barrel a day oil spill from TransOcean’s Deepwater rig in the Gulf of Mexico, has made landfall on Louisiana shores. The Obama Administration’s refusal to act until seven days after the explosion, was a calculated political gamble that seems to have gone horribly wrong. For the second time in a year The Obama Administration has used Louisiana for the furtherance of political agenda. The first time, taxpayer money was used to bribe Senator Landrieu (D) LA into voting for ObamaCare. This second instance is much more more tangible.

The Bono part is actually funny. Unlike most, I respect Bono-he actually walks the talk. He spends his own money in order to twist government arms.

I predict that the liberals, MSM, liberal talking heads, etc. will minimize the fault of Obama or the EPA in delaying their reactions to this developing disaster.

I wonder if we will be lectured by radicals that Obama hates black people, if this spill reaches New Orleans and causes pollution there.

Oil Pollution Act of 1990 makes this one all Obama’s ...

Probably one of the ‘powers’ congress may wish it hadn’t grabbed.

While all this transpires off the coast and Obama heads the cheer leading section as to why we need to stop using oil, beware of what is going on behind the curtain politically.

Why didn’t they immediately setup concentric boom perimeters around the leak area?

He wants to make the slick as large as possible. It’s part of the agenda.

Uhhh, because the oil spill booms are stored on military facilities with quick access to aircraft, waiting presidential order which didn't come until today.

The OPA grand plan idea was a spill was sighted, the president would spot it, the resources would deploy and the spill would be contained. Another government grand plan goes poof.

Only problem was president was playing politics campaigning and lying about everything, instead of doing his job. Maybe we can impeach him over the damage he allowed to be caused by not acting.

Search for OPA 1990 for more on the details of what the responsibilities of our so-called president, and what he must do. In our case, I guess he thought he should just go get some rags and help wipe birds.

Meanwhile for the last 9 days the oil has been a gushing.

IT'S TIME WE ANOINT THIS ONE OBAMA’s OIL SPILL ... remember it was Bush's Katrina.

Is it possible to contain a “gusher” that keepings spewing oil with a boom on top of the water? Think about it. The oil keeps coming. It will eventually spill over the top of the boom, go under it or the boom will have get bigger and bigger.

This is a major castotrophy.

There’s 18,000 feet of bedrock between the ocean floor and the oil reservoir. One would think they could blast the damn thing shut.

Think about it, you contain oil at the same time you work to stop it. The idea is to suction the oil into barges and in some cases burn the oil off, that is contained by the booms. They even have fireproof booms.

Do two things at once.
