WRONG LINK IN ABOVE... here is the right link to the story I was talking about...

Read the article Gov Christie to NJ Supreme Court Justice: You’re Fired!... Sorry for the mix up folks.

Gov. Christie is quickly becoming a hero!”

Oh yes.
He is my favorite governor right now.
From the article:

“Before and since becoming governor, I was unambiguous in my intention to bring balance and change to the Supreme Court. My selection today is not a commentary on Justice Wallace. It is a fulfillment of my promise to turn the court away from its history of using legal precedent to set social and tax policies in our state — a role which belongs squarely with the legislative and executive branches of state government.”

I don’t know about that one ... :-)

Imagine the chaos that would happen in the U.S. Supreme Court if that tack were taken by Obama about now... saying that he was going to “restore balance” to the court and fire about three or four justice and appoint his own ... LOL ...

And then the next President would fire the “whole lot” of them and appoint a new set... and so on for every President...

That would kinda take away the “separation of powers” doctrine, I would say ...

Gots to like this Christie fella.

Mobile, I’m coming to Illinois in 10 days to start a journey across route 66 to Santa Monica.
So I want you to make sure Chicago is straightened out by then ok?

I love Christie, but this is a stupid article because it has no information. What’s going on in NJ?

It has been a long time since I was proud of my governor. The court in NJ can get balance with the choices of governors from both parties. In NJ, it has been the Dems making most of the appointments to the State Supreme Court for a number of years. Elections have consequences. Thank God for Governor Christie taking action.
