Sure.
He’s a hero.
Do you expect the FBI and HS to be everywhere?
Who conducted the investigation?
Who caught the guy at the airport?
Who caught his associates?
The system may have failed.
Immigration may have failed.
I’m sure that the administration has failed us at some point.
But I can’t see where any of the cops or agents failed.
Yep.
Neither of those were controlled by the cops or the FBI.
Our administration, our “system” and our policies have surely failed us.
I mean hes accused hes arrested you know I dont want to convict him before its time to do so. Hes the guy authorities say is involved. But that being said I mean we know even in recent history you have the Haitari militia from Michigan who have plans to lets face it create terror.
Wrapped up in one neat paragraph: the liberal agenda against this country. The media are our (the nation's) enemy.
I pulled the quote from the Flopping Aces website.
Sorry: Contessa BREWER!!!!
I agree. Party ID and contributions should be easy to check with the state’s Sec of State.
Donations in Federal elections are readily accessible via several online databases, such as newsmeat.com. I’ve checked— nothing obvious from this guy.
Besides, other reports say he’s in foreclosure on his home. I rather doubt he’d be spraying money around at politicians under those circumstances.
Given that this person is a Dem, donated to Obama, and tried to set off a bomb in NYC, I'd say it's somebody with a political agenda who doesn't like freedom or the United States of America.
It won’t matter what the Democrat donation files say. Bernie Madoff was a HUGE Democrat fund raiser and contributor. Hear anything about it?
FBI did a good job apparently.
What specifically did HS do?...he even went thru security at JFK!!!
My understanding was that this guy was already on a plane that had pulled away from the gate.
Clearly, Homeland security failed. This guy was NOT on a no-fly list, got through security without any special screening and got past government agents staked out at the airport.
Meanwhile, 6 year old girls and feeble old ladies were being pulled aside for random screenings.
The practice of no-profiling for PC-sakes allowed a domestic terrorist to get on a plane.
Homeland security practices were a DISMAL failure in this case and should be thoroughly criticized.
I gave them credit for being part of the investigation and, at the time, I thought it was the FBI that arrested the suspect at the airport.
At the time he went through security at JFK, was there a bulletin out on this guy? Was the TSA even alerted to this guy? Every indication is NO.
In fact, they cops let the guy go as far as they could before arresting him. So they either didn’t tell the TSA or told the TSA to let him pass.
Nothing here even hints at incompetence by these agencies, but time may tell.
I'm sure they will excercise the same competence when Iran gets a nuclear weapon into the hands of terrorists.
Really?
As with the last guy, HS doesn’t always get the information it needs. Yep, they often fail but in this case, I don’t see that they had the information before or after the failed attack.
Why should this guy have received a special screening? Are you aware that they PURPOSELY let this guy get as far as he could while they monitored his phone? They LET this guy get on the plane in order to get as much information as possible.
Blame our government for these lapses, but not the cops and agents.
As in most ravings, there is no credible reference.
Put yourself in the shoes of the other passengers on this plane. The very guy who wanted thousands of Americans to die was ALLOWED on the plane with you and your children???? Then the door was closed and pulled away from the gate??
If he was indeed (as you say) allowed on the plane, then heads should roll for risking a hostage situation.
Why?
He was screened like any other passenger.
Could he have crashed a plane that was still taxi-ing (sp?) with the cockpit doors locked?
The possible gain may have been deemed to be worth the increased risk.
Napolitano was tha nking and commending DHS workers this morning. These people really DO live in an alternate universe.
