Will Arizona Secede?

I have no idea if Arizona will make an attempt at secession, or not. If they do, it will not be the first time. You see, back in 1861 Arizona chose to become a part of the old Confederacy during the War Between the States. You may read the Arizona Ordinance of Secession HERE.

So, secession, as unthinkable as you MAY think it is today, is NOT outside the realm of possibility. Let’s see what others are saying about this issue: ************************ “Will Arizona be the first state to secede?” Check this out HERE.

************************ HCR 2034:If Martial Law, Arizona Will Secede 1. “That when or if the President of the United States, the Congress of the United States or any other federal agent or agency declares the Constitution of the United States to be suspended or abolished, if the President or any other federal entity attempts to institute martial law or its equivalent without an official declaration in one or more of the states without the consent of that state or if any federal order attempts to make it unlawful for individual Americans to own firearms or to confiscate firearms, the State of Arizona, when joined by thirty-four of the other fifty states, declares as follows: That the states resume all state powers delegated by the Constitution of the United States and assume total sovereignty; … …” You will find this story HERE.

I think that we are closer to civil war than anytime since 1861. And I believe ‘ZERO’ is faning those flames!

Uh, AZ didn’t become a State until 1912.

According to Wikipedia:

“Arizona was recognized as a Confederate Territory by presidential proclamation of Jefferson Davis on February 12, 1862.”

“Uh, AZ didn’t become a State until 1912.”

The writer is referring to the Territory. Lincoln feared that other Territories would also sympathize with the South's right to self govern. A large number of Southerners traveled west from southern states 1850’s

The Confederate Territory of Arizona was founded and evacuated by Confederate Troops in 1862. The United States Territory of Arizona was carved out of the U.S Territory of New Mexico in 1863. The two shared the same name, but had different boundaries and existed at different times.

Maybe Texas will dump that RINO p***y Rick Perry who supports open border.

AZ has to dump McCain first.

If Arizona did this, I think there would be such a stampede of folks to get there it would be mindboggling.

You’d rather Texas put the democrat White, who not only supports open border but open everything - except him and his buddies wallets - for illegals?

Lesser of two evils - sure, but I’d rather go slowly into a pot of boiling oil than quickly.

Texas needs to get some conservatives - Perry, Kay Bailey and Cornyn are RINOs.

Meanwhile here in FL we have Sissy Crist and Rubio-Estefan.

You need to change that sign to read:

If all the illegals announced they would all be voting Republican in future elections...

Obama and the democrats would build a high speed train system to Mexico and then build a fence.
