Eric Holder and SB1070: Should AZ Sue the Feds?

Below is a clip of Eric Holder discussing how his current opinion of Arizona law SB1070 has been formulated by the media, as opposed to his personal review of the law. He has not yet been briefed by anyone on his staff who has read the bill. Does anyone in this administration think before they speak? And what should be the penalty for high administration officials, from the president to the attorney general and secretary of state, whose actions and comments have the ability to inflict economic harm on a state? What is Arizona’s recourse against libel and slander, and should the Arizona Attorney General seek action against the federal government?

Isn’t there something called a ‘writ of mandamus’ that can force the federal government to do it’s job?

Holder should be sued for dereliction of duty. He raked AZ over the coals over a bill which he flat-out admitted he hadn't read.

By the way, how stupid is a lawyer who would admit to such a thing, especially a hard Leftist lawyer, able to lie as easily as he breathes.

I hope they do. And why can’t they? The feds are not enforcing the laws, either from total incompetence or on purpose. Personally I think it’s both.

Holder should be sued for dereliction of duty.

No, by declaring his opinion regardless of the facts, he's bucking for a Supreme Court nomination. /s

A great idea. I’ve said on other posts that they should sue Holder for not enforcing federal law.
