Drama continues to unfold as the Gulf oil disaster drags on. An eyewitness to part of the area effected by the disaster raises this question--what on earth is happening at Grand Isle, Louisiana?
Apparently much more than what the public is being told.
As previously reported, the Obama Administration has banned all citizen journalists, photographers, bloggers, and other observers from the region. The few 'authorized journalists' of the mainstream media that are being allowed in have been instructed not to photograph or write about anything that could cast the Obama Administration in a negative light.
However, at least 2 citizens made it through to Grand Isle, Louisiana, and took video footage of the situation. One of the 2 filed the following quick report-on-the-fly concerning what was observed:

No pictures... not buying it.
I suppose a joke about the creature from the black lagoon would be inappropriate.
But yes, one of the things that makes me very, very uncomfortable about having a leftist in the White House is how the media cover for him. When Bush was president you knew that anything resembling a problem or scandal would be thoroughly reported. (And Dan Rather was willing to invent some!)
The media should be zealous and skeptical towards the government, not just towards conservatives.
black helicopter bump for later
Were they wearing tin foil on those white hard hats.
Did you notice Mulder and Scully giving Art Bell a lift out of town?
Maybe they are just setting up headquarters there for a large cleanup effort and don’t want a bunch of distractions. You know, Occum’s razor and all that.
So, where is the video?
What authority would the US Army have to stop people from photographing a public beach area?
I’d tell them to shove it.
Maybe Xenu took the oil. Perhaps he needed it to fuel the DC-8 spaceships to carry all the alien souls towards the volcanos... or something...
I hate to jump on the conspiracy theorist bandwagon but with this AH in the White House, it’s hard not to. I agree....who the hell is the US Gov/Army to keep private citizens from shooting pictures? Ridiculous!!!! And an outrage.
“The Irishman said it’s a porcupine,
and the Scotsman, he said Nay.
The Welshman said it’s a pin-cushion,
with the pins put in the wrong way”
I suppose I could contact my family near there and see if they are willing to risk their life to smuggle out a few photos. /s
Dunno bout everyone else... I’d just tape my camera onto a baseball bat and if anyone tries to stop me from taking pictures they will find out why the set up is called a “Boom Lens”

I find it hard to believe the media would back off and do as their told unless they were threatend in some way. If it’s that big of a story each & every one of them would want to be first to break it. Not sure who’s story is the fishiest.(no pun intended)
I read the article, does not sound that far fetched to me considering the Liar in the WH. I have been reading a facebook site where Florida residents are posting & from the posts of locals, it doesn’t sound like there are any major problems on the beaches.

Thanks for that link...I’ll check it out. It makes me sick to see how the freaking news manipulates EVERYTHING!!!!! I cannot seperate fact from fiction anymore & it makes me feel so schizo.
I don’t think Florida will have much permanent damage over this. I’ve been there when there was the ‘red tide’ of stinking algae, and when there were floating slicks of jellyfish, and when there were schools of sharks, and life went on. I think that it’s Louisiana that will suffer the bad damage to the fishing/shrimping/wetlands environment.
and why is the MSM SO AFRAID of being arrested?
They go into war zones for crying out loud!
Could they be more afraid of our own government?
Should WE be afraid?
I’m not skeered... I have a “boom lens” (and I’m not MSM)
