Reports are surfacing that Afghanistan may just have monumentally huge mineral deposits, conservatively valued at around $US1 Trillion. The largest finds are huge deposits of Iron Ore and Copper. Among a list as long as your arm of other minerals are vast deposits of Lithium. Currently the largest deposits of Lithium are in Bolivia, and these deposits in Afghanistan are said to absolutely dwarf that. Lithium is an important metal in the booming electronics field, especially in battery technology. The current cost of Lithium in batteries means that it increases the cost because it is relatively rare. These deposits in Afghanistan may not be mined for some years to come, but it looks like it may actually be a way forward for this Country, so cruelly forsaken for so long now.

actually Bush and Cheney and Halliburton and Rove knew all about these deposits which is why the neocons invaded Afghanistan to build a giant pipeline to move all that LITHIUM to Pakistan which is their next diablical goal
