China’s Military Threatens America: ‘We Will Hurt You’
Pajamas Media ^ | June 14 | Gordon Chang

n February, Colonel Meng Xianging promised a “hand-to-hand fight with the U.S.” sometime within the next 10 years “when we’re strong enough.” “We must make them hurt,” said Major-General Yang Yi this year, referring to the United States.

And last month, at the Strategic and Economic Dialogue in Beijing, a Chinese flag officer launched a three-minute rant that stunned the 65 or so American officials in the audience. Everything that is right with U.S. relations with China is due to China, said Rear Admiral Guan Youfei. Everything that is wrong is Washington’s fault. According to Guan, the United States sees China as an enemy.........

Hey China, relax.

Barry and the Democrat Party are destroying us from the inside.

Pour yourselves a cup of tea and just wait. No effort on your part required.

Frowning takes 68 muscles.
Smiling takes 6.
Pulling this trigger takes 2.
I'm lazy.

The Japanese and Germans hurt us also. Ask Tojo and Hitler how that worked out for them.

The problem is that, in 1941, U.S. industrial capacity dwarfed the industrial capacity of both Japan and Germany. In 1945, nobody had ever heard of the term "Rust Belt".

In 2010, the Chinese industrial capacity dwarfs the industrial capacity of the U.S. Turn over that keyboard you are typing on. See where it says, "Made in China"? In addition, the U.S. President wants to runs America with trillions of dollars borrowed from China.

Then, there is another problem. As far as backbone is concerned, this ain't Grandpa's America anymore.

The combination is very dangerous.

I’ve been saying for years.....why has our government allowed U.S. companies to shift so many resources and capabilities into Chinese communist hands.

Our very own congress is slitting our throats to appease corporate interest that helped put them in office to the detriment of U.S. national security.

All for the almighty dollar. Good job guys, your successfully selling out the country of your birth.

Shame on you.

However, a quick and dirty way to avoid this would be a strategically-placed China boycott. Boycott all “Made in China” products...they’ll cave in a month.

Pfft.

We halted exports to Japan, including oil needed to run their navy, and within a year they put a pretty good wallop on Pearl Harbor, you may remember.

It didn't take much of an import/export revenue stream to bring the WTC down.

Don’t forget, millions of young men without wives due to the one child policy.

Ah, you mean the "200,000,000 man" army that will strike Israel from the East?

The more money we owe China the less likely they will try something foolish.

*********************************************************

A. This ain’t the same country...sad to say.
B. The Japanese and the Germans were a Cub Scout Troop compared to the 200,000,000 troops China could throw at us.

The Chinese are working on space based weaponry, satelite killers and EMP technology...all the while obama is trying to disarm us. Anyway you look at it the future does not look very bright.

“hand-to-hand fight with the U.S.” sometime within the next 10 years

Our enemies across the globe a rapidly weakening and declining America. God help us when the Chinese do make good on their threat. Notice the general's government didn't publicly upbraid him for the statement. Meanwhile, boy zer0 and co. meekly and apologetically nuzzle to the feet of the world.

China is, by sheer numbers, the one country that could successfully invade and occupy a portion of our landmass. We won't use nukes to stop them... not with this current collaborationist regime in the White House.

I respectfully disagree. Before WWII America was divided by Republican pacifism and Nazi sympathizers in the general population. The German-American Bundt at the time was huge.. on President's Day, February 19, 1939 at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Some 20,000 people attended and heard Kuhn criticize President Franklin D. Roosevelt by repeatedly referring to him as “Frank D. Rosenfeld”.

Every generation in America has its asses and traitors.

If China is ever stupid enough to start a conventional war with the U.S. we would give thme a heaping helping of Boot Salad.

The most populated country in the world, with currently the strongest economy, still doesn’t think they can take us? That says more than they realize.

Yes. It says that they are a lot more patient and much smarter than Hitler was.

Population and "economy" do not win wars. Ask the later Roman Empire.

A well-armed and capable military wins wars.

China's military capabilities are on the ascent and, with Obama in the White House, America's military capabilities are on the decline.

Hitler's mistake was that he became too impatient and went to war too early.

Had Hitler been more patient, like the Chinese, he would have had long-range four-engine bombers, next generation fighter aircraft (the Me-109 debuted at the start of the Spanish Civil War), better tanks (the Tiger I did not appear until late 1942) and much more of them.

In the mean time, while Hitler built up his military capabilities, the West would have been enjoying "Peace".

At this rate, in 15 years China won’t have to do anything to take us out. We’ll be doing it for them.

China will realize at some point that when your enemy is busy destroying itself, don’t interfere.
