(Audio) On his radio show, MSNBC’s Ed Schultz attacks and mocks Lee Greenwood’s “God Bless the USA” song.

Schultz said, “Back in the Bush administration when every time we invaded an oil rich country or anytime there was any kind of confrontation, we were subjected to, ad nauseam I might add, ‘God bless the USA.’ That Lee Greenwood song.”

My late father, toward the end of his life wrote a song, which I feel could have become a legendary, patriotic song. Unfortunately he got sick and never did much to promote the song. Great title:

America, Sweet America!
