The Director of the National Security Janet Napolitano believes her immigration policy is adding “smart” to the “tough”.
First we have dispensed with the rhetoric and we’ve just gotten to work.Now for too long we heard bumper sticker slogans about being tough, but looking tough just doesn’t get the job done.
We decided that we needed to add some smarts to toughness and make some changes to build a coordinated and comprehensive strategy.

After learning about the new national “Add Smart to the Tough” strategy on border security the folks at the Southern States started printing bumper stickers of their own:
You Lie!
I am smart! I understand Arizona!
It is a fence, not a rocket science!

Nice shift from "being tough" to "looking tough". She's right, just looking tough doesn't get the job done. Neither does looking weak.

Maybe it is high time that we here in AZ begin a campaign to SEIZE THE ASSETS OF ALL FEDERAL EMPLOYEES for FAILURE TO HONOR THEIR PUBLIC OATH OF OFFICE. Put them in Jail for conspiracy to subvert the constitution of the State of Arizona, then Deny Standing to ALL FEDERAL AGENTS who wish to challenge said incarceration and forfeitures.
In order for a strategy to be considered “smart” it must be at least a bit of a challenge to your opponent to overcome. Janet is several moves behind the illegals when it comes to smart and not even close when it comes to outwitting the terrorists.
There’s that code word “comprehensive”—as in “comprehensive immigration reform”. It is attached to any leftist policy that will harm the US.
