Read the whole. Outstanding! I laughed out loud at “Diplomas given for ‘time served’”. I’m sure that’s how my son felt upon receiving his. He would come home from school and say, “You couldn’t take it if you saw what I have to see everyday.” He truly felt the cultural divide.
TIme travel can do that to you.
THe story ends badly for the ‘hero’.
I felt the same. Left, and then came back to finally knock it off.
Now I spend my time tutoring students. I’m just thankful I don’t have to deal with the idiots anymore.
I remember reading that back in high school.
