This film seemed so prescient at the time…and still does in so many ways. I just finished watching it again and it never seems to lose its appeal. Hope you enjoy it as much as I always do!

Well, here it is…

Must have seen it at least 5 times. Aliens look like relatives of District 9

THX.

I have the first one cued up.

will see. Some such I cringe from and don’t enjoy watching regardless of how true . . . sometimes because they are too true.

I think you might find this one painfully true...I always do! Particularly the demonic part.

That said, the ending doesn't really do the basic premise justice. But think about how old it is and consider the literature (or lack thereof) it is based on.

Rather revolutionary at the time.

TCM showed it on July 10. They’re going to repeat it on October 22.

One of the all-time classic, thought provoking sci-fi movies.

Another of my faves: “Invaders from Mars”

Well, the nice thing about the internet is YOU are in charge of how you spend your take.

You've wasted more than 5 minutes whining and complaining about it!

Well, me neither.

That said, sorry the film wasn't your cup of tea, but each to his own.

It certainly wasn't a work of art...just one of those old low-budget sci-fi films I have always loved.
