Sarah Palin's Post Deleted By Facebook: An Intolerable Mistake On Hallowed Ground
Citizen Palin 4 President ^ | Sarah Palin On Facebook

Earlier today, Mayor Bloomberg responded to my comments about the planned mosque at Ground Zero by suggesting that a decision not to allow the building of a mosque at that sacred place would somehow violate American principles of tolerance and openness.

No one is disputing that America stands for – and should stand for – religious tolerance. It is a foundation of our republic. This is not an issue of religious tolerance but of common moral sense. To build a mosque at Ground Zero is a stab in the heart of the families of the innocent victims of those horrific attacks. Just days after 9/11, the spiritual leader of the organization that wants to build the mosque, Imam Faisal Abdul Rauf, suggested that blame be placed on the innocents when he stated that the “United States’ policies were an accessory to the crime that happened” and that “in the most direct sense, Osama bin Laden is made in the USA.” Rauf refuses to recognize that Hamas is a terrorist organization dedicated to the destruction of our ally, Israel, and refuses to provide information about the sources of funding for the $100 million mosque. Rauf also plays a key role in a group behind the flotilla designed to provoke Israel in its justifiable blockade of Gaza. These are just a few of the points Americans are realizing as New York considers the proposed mosque just a stone’s throw away from 9/11’s sacred ground.

I agree with the sister of one of the 9/11 victims (and a New York resident) who said: “This is a place which is 600 feet from where almost 3,000 people were torn to pieces

The utmost reason this must not happen is that if muslims build a mosque at ground zero, they will have declared a victory over America in this war they waged on us decades ago. It’s even called the Cordoba Project after their conquering of Cordoba Spain in the middle ages.

I saw this earlier on my FB page and went back to see if it was still there; it was. I’m not sure where the article got the idea that it had been deleted.

It just seems like NYers in their quest to be PC and diverse are ignoring the trait of muslims to build mosques as a sign of victory?

Just followin' W's lead

"We are not at war with the Afghani people, and we are not at war with Islam, which most Americans respect as a religion of peace." -- George W. Bush, 9/16/01

This proves beyond a doubt that muslims are not decent people. If they were they would not even think of doing this. It tells me that there are no moderate muslims.

correction.

The liberal demosplats are the dark forces and have always been the dark forces.
Its called moral relativism; where the ends justify the means.
Conservatives will always be at a political disadvantage because they belive there is a right and a wrong and they should speak the truth and they expect their opponents to behave the same.

I have to believe that the Founder’s notion of religious tolerance was not intended to include tolerance of a religion that was violently intolerant of all others.

You need to read everything about this. Sarah’s facebook article was deleted and she put it back in place again, so naturally when you went there you saw it, BUT it was deleted.

Well, Thomas Jefferson was, by all accounts, pretty radical; but he said this....

Where the preamble declares, that coercion is a departure from the plan of the holy author of our religion, an amendment was proposed by inserting “Jesus Christ,” so that it would read “A departure from the plan of Jesus Christ, the holy author of our religion;” the insertion was rejected by the great majority, in proof that they meant to comprehend, within the mantle of its protection, the Jew and the Gentile, the Christian and Mohammedan, the Hindoo and Infidel of every denomination.
-Thomas Jefferson, Autobiography, in reference to the Virginia Act for Religious Freedom

Mohammedism is NOT a religion; it is a cult of hate.

Hate Jews. Hate Christians. Hate women. Hate blacks. Hate America. Hate Europe. Hate Hindus. Hate, hate, hate.
