NEVADA –U.S. Senate candidate Sharron Angle was present at different publics events sponsored in Reno and Las Vegas by the American Family Business Institute (AFBI), a trade association representing family-owned businesses, ranches and farms. The events were hosted on Wednesday and Thursday by AFBI to witness the signing of the Death Tax Repeal Pledge between Sharron Angle andAFBI President Dick Patten.
Angle discussed the tax’s impact on family businesses, jobs, and economic growth while signing AFBI’s “Death Tax Repeal Pledge”. By signing the pledge, Angle commits to vote for repeal of the estate tax, which her opponent, Senator Harry Reid, wants reinstated at a rate of 55 percent or higher.
Angle spokesman Jerry Stacy said, “While Sharron Angle was busy talking to Nevadans this week about the need to eliminate the death tax and creating pro-growth policies that will help the 193,000 unemployed Nevadans, Harry Reid was in Washington working to raise your taxes. Just yesterday, Harry Reid voted against Senator DeMint’s amendment to permanently repeal the death tax....

Angle better get her butt in gear. I am praying for her but her bad start is scaring us. Reid is a house of glass, she needs to start throwing rocks back at it. She should be getting in mortal wounds by now.
The way things are going I would rather let the Dems win all the races and let them keep the death tax just so they can alienate the public so much there is no chance for them ever again.
Biggest point to make about it is that the government is taxing you on money you already paid taxes on. How can anyone be for that?
We don’t try people twice for the same crime, you’d call that unfair. How is it not unfair to tax the same money twice? You already paid the tax.
Who’s to say they won’t do this eventually for EVERYONE who dies? The number they start doing this on is simply arbitrary. It can change when needed. The income tax used to be paid only by the top few percent of people. Now everyone pays it no matter what you make. Social Security was promised never to take more than 3% of a person’s wages. It’s a lot more than that now.
I think we’re there about now. We can’t afford to let it keep going like this, there will be no other real choice than revolution otherwise. They win either way. We either get there incrementally because the GOP have just enough spineless RINOs who want to be loved by the dems and the MSM, or we get there real fast and the country revolts and the dems declare martial law and then RWII begins. I think most of the military would be on our side.

I really wish they would change the terminology from death tax to grave robbing tax.
