The Age of the Un-Serious Presidency
Reaganite Republican ^ | July 30, 2010 | Reaganite Republican

Dear Leader's appearance on The View this week (a TV equivalent of chewing-gum for the mind) has more than a few people scratching their head as they face the dawning realization that this president really doesn't seem very serious about addressing the towering challenges the rest of us face everyday... at all.

In a fluff interview that would be an embarrassment to any normal person, the show's boring, knee-jerk-liberal yentas predictably insulted your intelligence by lining-up to lick his posterior... but were topped by the grandstanding Babah Wahwah gushing how "sexy" Obama is- prompting even Democratic Pennsylvania Gov Ed Rendell to remark "I think there should be a little bit of dignity to the presidency... I think the president of the United States has to go on serious shows."

Our self-hating Narcissist-in-Chief went-on to defame American blacks as a "mongrel" race- clearly a man with such self-esteem issues has no business anywhere near the levers of power in this -or any other- socially complex, multiracial nation. Unsettlingly, Obama's bad childhood and psychological scars have this warped and unbalanced man "acting stupidly" on a regular basis, refusing to persecute voter intimidation by the NBP, suing Arizona to block the will of the people, emboldening and radicalizing racist organizations like the NAACP and La Raza, bringing our country to the brink of a race war.... maybe McCartney should have played him Helter Skelter for inspiration, eh?

While straining to comprehend the thinking behind his actions (or lack of) as America endures one of the most trying periods in it's history, it often appears as though our wacked-out, Cloward-Piven-inspired president would prefer the implosion of the world's greatest nation to proceed on it's course... thereby bringing-on incremental crises to blame on "Booosh" and exploit to the fullest in relentless, ongoing power-grabs. Creating havoc is from page one of the Leftist playbook, of course... and abandoning the helm in the midst of a storm can only help in bringing the next handy little crisis to boil.

As noted at IBD:

________________________________________________________

As Americans suffer economically, President Obama golfs, vacations, campaigns, appears on a frivolous talk show — and vacations some more. Gee, don't we have a war and other problems to attend to? ... With the unemployment rate near double digits, in spite of over $800 billion in a misguided Keynesian stimulus, and two-thirds of Americans believing the country is headed in the wrong direction — that direction being global decline — the man elected on a platform of "Change" with a capital C seems to think his job is to neglect his job and have a blast... ________________________________________________________

The Obamas' latest impolitic, elitist vacation in Bar Harbor, Maine (while he and his charmless, America-hating wife encourage the plebes to go down to Louisiana and surf the oil slick) is to be promptly followed by another one, this time frolicking amongst the doting limousine liberals of Martha's Vineyard. Next month, the first lady and nine-year-old Sasha will meet the king and queen of Spain on yet another vacation.

This of course is the same Michelle Obama that takes Air Force One on shopping trips to London and Paris at taxpayer expense... as we pick-up the tab for the profligate Obamas trips to Manhattan and Chicago for lobster-scarfing "date nights"...

Amongst celebrities The One has summoned to the White House to entertain his court are Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder, Emmylou Harris, Herbie Hancock, Elvis Costello, Jerry Seinfeld... along with other like-minded tools, including country stars utilized as red-state political props.

Earlier this month, the Obamas enjoyed a Broadway cavalcade of stars that was "the sixth in a series of evenings celebrating the music that helped to shape America."

In a way, you've got to admire the synergy of how Obama integrates such thinly-veiled propaganda exercises with the stroking of his insatiable ego into evenings of world-class, front-row entertainment for he, his family, and his crew of toadies- shameless arrogance and a deeply-ingrained sense of entitlement helps, I guess.

Of course, Barack Obama has already hit the links for two-dozen rounds... more than the supposedly aloof blue-blood George W Bush managed over his entire 8 yrs in office...

IBD summarizes (highlights RR):

________________________________________________________

Our present challenges demand more than a part-time president. ... Rather than working hard to solve problems — and perhaps knuckling down to re-assess his own failed policies — this president, in whom so many placed so much faith, is saddling us with new problems.

But hey, thanks to the taxpayers, at least he's leading the good life.

________________________________________________________

Other viable theories have been offered to help understand this socialist sloth we're stuck with for 30 more months... like maybe he's back on the wacky-tabacky: was Obama stoned on 60 minutes...?

As Arizona Governor Jan Brewer says... DO YOUR JOB, Mr. President-- that is, if you're even capable.

Can you imagine the outcry if a Republican had said that African-Americans were a “mongrel” race? Why is this guy given such a pass on dumb things that he says???

For some reason I watched Hannity last night and he was just beside himself in praising Zero for going on the view. He was not being /s either.

Babah Wahwah gushing how "sexy" Obama is

To be fair, compared to what she sees in the mirror every morning, a dead skunk in the middle of the road would appear "sexy".

During the campaign he was boasting about how he grew up abroad and couldn’t believe that an Indonesian street kid could make it to the presidency.

Now all of the sudden he calls himself an American when everything he’s said about this nation and all former presidents on foreign soil has been solidly ANTI-American.

That’s the first thing I thought of, what if Bush had said that- there would have been a national strike!

The man(?) is completely clueless about what his job is. Completely. I've heard enough black people say, "They're [who the hell are they?!] putting too much on him!" And you can bet BHO believes that as well.

They is You All. All of You White People who have made and continue to make life so hard for Black people. That's who is putting too much on him (BHO).

Not all Black people think that way. I work around several intelligent Black people who would not say that. They know he (BHO) is screwing up. But many do indeed seem to have that sentiment.

(I live in the Detroit metro area).
