Yesterday I was sent a chart by a Liberty Juice reader whose wife is the Administrator for a 66 doctor practice in Florida and says the chart is circulating around their practice. I was horrified upon viewing it and wondered if this could possibly be real. However, this morning I discovered that Congressman Kevin Brady also made a press release available today with the exact same chart, this time with equally horrifying information to accompany it.
The chart was developed by the Joint Economic Committee and the press release states:
For Americans, as well as Congressional Democrats who didnt bother to read the bill, this first look at the final health care law confirms what many fear, that reform morphed into a monstrosity of new bureaucracies, mandates, taxes and rationing that will drive up health care costs, hurt seniors and force our most intimate health care choices into the hands of Washington bureaucrats, said Brady, the committees senior House Republican. If this is what passes for health care reform in America, then God help us all.
It goes on:
In addition to capturing the massive expansion of government and the overwhelming complexity of new regulations and taxes, the chart portrays:
* $569 billion in higher taxes; * $529 billion in cuts to Medicare; * swelling of the ranks of Medicaid by 16 million; * 17 major insurance mandates; and * the creation of two new bureaucracies with powers to impose future rationing: the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute and the Independent Payments Advisory Board.
Brady admits committee analysts could not fit the entire health care bill on one chart. This portrays only about one-third of the complexity of the final bill. Its actually worse than this.
The spineless, gutless leadership of the GOP should be showing this Fascist outrage in national TV ads NOW.
If anyone has any connections to campaign staff, please ask why this isn’t being exposed.
Why doesn’t Fox News show this on “all” their shows 24/7?
I’m amazed that some are amazed at this. This is the very same chart that Republicans had beside them in their respective chambers when they were fighting this monstrosity - day after day, month after month.
If the American people are willing to tolerate this, they deserve what they get.
If they allow it to be destroyed they deserve what the get.
If they allow it to be destroyed they deserve what the get.
Echo?
Unfortunately, that link takes you to a jpg image of the chart that does not give any detail that can be read. A better link is directly from the original source (pdf):

EXACTLY! If dim bulbs like Grayson (D-Fl) can say that the GOP's healthcare plan is to "Die early" and the other doofus Pete Stark (D-CA) can ask constituents, "How many 'undocumented workers' do you want to kill today?", with absolutely straight faces and no fear or repercussions, then why can't the GOP get out the facts. Why does the GOP have to always play nice with these Bolsheviks? This is why the GOP doesn't poll too much better than the dems. It's because people see them as the Juan McCain get along and go along party.
I'm only one person but every time I see one of these politicians at any kind of event trying to get votes I ask them point blank, in a very neutral voice so they don't know how to read me, "What do you think of these Tea Party people?". If they give me a positive answer, I shake their hand and let them know they have my support. If they give me a mamby pamby non-answer I know that they're not for me, but I let them know that I don't care who the RNC thinks can win, I simply want the most conservative candidate representing me.
By the way did any of you notice that the two items at the BOTTOM of the charts is Doctors and Patients!
Cheaper to just pay the doc in cash under the table.
About half of the American population, looking at this chart, would be in amazement of how brilliant our government is to have so many agencies working on our behalf. Those same citizens that trust our government more than God, their neighbors and themselves.
It’s hard for me to not to think that it’s “game over”.
lol. the pdf crashes foxit when i open it. X)
Brilliant observation. Look how far apart they are too!
We need your help!
If you know anyone who lives in Missouri please contact them and tell them to vote YES today on the Health Care Freedom Act, Proposition C.
The President and Congress have given us a health care reform package that will force people into government-defined health plans and penalize them for paying for services with cash!
Missouris Proposition C, on the August 3 primary ballot, will protect us from those government mandates by expressly stating that the government may not penalize citizens for refusing to purchase private health insurance or infringe upon the right to offer or accept direct payment for lawful healthcare services.
Furthermore, the August 3 vote is the FIRST TIME any voters in the country will have the opportunity to vote yes in order to protect their freedom from government regulation.
