Best regards to all,
Can you transcribe it so we don’t have to download a 5 meg file?
At the time, use of commas was little different from the writer pausing for breath. Their exact positioning varies from copy to copy, and their usage is largely irrelevant. This issue has been thoroughly hashed and come to no meaningful conclusion - trust me.
Since the number of commas is not relevant, you will, no doubt, join Us, The Citizens, and embrace the clear, crisp ONE COMMA version over the muddy, goofy Three Comma Version and further insist all fourteen parchment versions be made available in high resolution format at the National Archives so individuals can make fully informed judgments about what is and is not important?
After all, if it makes no difference why should the most complicated version dominate over the simple version?
Best regards,
