A report has surfaced in the British press indicating that President Barack Obama is set to meet with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. (Increasingly, the British press is playing the role of watchdog when it comes to the Obama administration since US journolists have become essentially messengers for the regime.)
In this case, as Obama promised in his presidential campaign, he is reportedly set to meet directly with the Iranian president. Readers may recall that during the campaign Obama spun this idea by claiming that he was not afraid to meet with Ahmadinejad.
This is a foolish concept.
Meeting with Ahmadinejad is a mistake on several levels:

O is still stuck on stupid. God help us.
Meeting with Aquadinnerjacket (who took part in storming the US embassy) is an insult to the embassy hostages, whose kidnapping represents the start of the 30 year war with Iran.

Rule number 1: never schedule a public meeting with a lunatic dictator who is more competent than you are.
‘...stupid — even for Obama’
Well, he’s never disappointed on this front. When you think he couldn’t possibly eclipse his last fiasco there he goes proving you wrong. It totally wouldn’t surprise me if he met openly with I’m A Nut Job doing his usual bowing/groveling/apologizing routine.

News that Russia will load nuclear fuel rods into an Iranian reactor has touched off a countdown to a point of no return, a deadline by which Israel would have to launch an attack on Iran’s Bushehr reactor before it becomes effectively “immune” to any assault, says former Bush administration U.N. Ambassador John R. Bolton.
Once the fuel rods are loaded, Bolton told Fox News on Friday afternoon, “it makes it essentially immune from attack by Israel. Because once the rods are in the reactor an attack on the reactor risks spreading radiation in the air, and perhaps into the water of the Persian Gulf.
