It wasn't supposed to be this way. Democrats were promised repeatedly by their leadership and the "professional left" that once ObamaCare passed, the public would embrace it. Voters would even reward Democrats at the polls in November.
Former President Bill Clinton, for example, told audiences that the reason Democrats faired so poorly in the 1994 off-year elections, when Republicans took over the House and Senate for the first time in 40 years, was his failure to pass ClintonCare.
However, no one claimed in 1994 that Democrats were beaten for failing to pass health care reform; everyone understood it was because they tried to pass a massive government-run takeover of the health care system. Had Democrats succeeded, as President Obama has now done, the beating would likely have been worse.
And that's what we're seeing in the polls. The Rasmussen poll has consistently shown that 55% to 60% of the public wants ObamaCare repealed, even as Team Obama tries to convince the public of its benefits--and of leaving Democrats in charge.
But with oblivion looming in the November elections, the White House and its allies have decided that the non-Ivy-League-educated rabble--i.e., the vast majority of Americans--is too stupid to understand how good ObamaCare is. So they've brought in the high-paid consultants to help with the messaging.

really?
Eighty percent of the public last year said they were satisfied with their personal health care plan.
So, if anyone still thought Bill was a team this proves otherwise. As long as he's thinking with his big head he's an awfully devious sort as well.

sorry, correction
“a team” should be “a team player”
The scumbag Democrats always seem to be looking for new ways to lie. Good luck to them with turning communist health care rationing into something American taxpayers want.
“Okay losers... ‘splain.”
"The constitution sets qualification for the president. And then the people decide who they think would be the better president."
It has been my opinion since August of 2008 that the Clintons know something, and that it was they who set in motion the whole "birther" thing. Remember, it was a big Hillary supporter in the Philadelphia area who long ago launched the first Obama eligibility lawsuit.
Yes, the Clintons have no intention of waiting another four years to go after the big prize.
Yeah, but now Hillary has to convince all of those "traitors" that she won't hold it against them when she finally has the brass ring she wanted all her life - and that they denied her...
Clinton offered his assessment about Obama being “qualified” to be president in early August, 2008. By the end of August, 2008, Hillary fundraiser Philip Berg had taken legal action:

Billy Jeff is the master at playing political head games. Does anybody in their right mind think that he truly wanted Teleprompter Kid and the Dem party to be successful with their election campaigns?
Clinton’s ego would never allow an Obama legacy to eclipse his own. He knows Obama is a one-termer and after he loses he can say “See you should have listened to me. I told you the only thing this guy is good at is fetching coffee.”
It won't take much convincing after the slaughter in November. Even losing the House would be seen as a disaster to the democrat party of if the Senate goes as well, the Clinton wing of the party will be dictating terms rather than having to making peace treaties.

But it was the .00005% of the population who weren't satisfied with the public having choices abouth their healthcare that rammed it down the U.S.'s throat.
People are getting informed in other ways. I have a conservative neighbor who thought this health care "reform" would get her the insurance she so desparately needs because of a legit pre-existing condition. Instead, she finds out the policy she could now get would just about take her whole paycheck, and she is barely holding that job.
People like this woman feel duped; they thought it was some kind of gov't freebee. And the stories like this are spreading very, very quickly. Summary....the 'pubs could take a real lot of elections in OH.
We know a well-to-do couple where the wife has major health problems. The husband supported zerOcare (and zerO) because he thought it meant his wife would get low-cost insurance. Since they now live in The Villages, I am sure he has neighbors who have explained the facts to him.
Too many people just did not register the redistributive aspect of this obamination.

Precious! Please keep "explaining" Obamacare to us non-Ivy-League-educated rabble!
Hey, like Nanzi said-—we’ll all find out what’s in the bill-—AFTER it passes.
ROTFLOL.
” Please keep “explaining” Obamacare to us non-Ivy-League-educated rabble! “
Any reasonably intelligent high school graduate without a college degree should be able to explain to the Harvardheads why Obamacare is an abysmal failure.
He is just making fun of that ppt presentation from last week on selling Obama-care. I think I did a better job making fun of it :)
Yes, you did.
