Robert Gibbs Faces Questions on Whether Obama Will Credit President Bush for Success in Iraq – Video

Here is video of White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs facing repeated questions today about whether President Obama will give credit to former President George W. Bush for the Surge Strategy that brought about victory in Iraq. Gibbs did everything he could to avoid answering the question. His response was to essentially say that Obama knew all along that putting additional troops in Iraq would improve the security situation there.

That, of course, is simply not true. Instead, President Obama opposed the Surge Strategy, and even said he thought it would not only not help, but would probably make things worse......

Of course, Obama will not give George Bush any credit...for this or anything else. It would require some class, which the Gangsta-in-Chief does not have.

Gibbs did everything he could to avoid answering the question.
That was with CNN. I watched him do the exact same thing with Fox this morning, and Gretchen Carlson made him look downright stupid.
Give me two minutes alone with this schmuck and I'd knock that sh*t eating grin off his face.

This has been around all day (not complaining) and it provides an interesting lesson -- If your goal is to be a diplomatic, bipartisan, country unifying president, what could be simpler? Announce the removal of troops, and throw a little tip of that hat to another American president, for any and all accomplishments that were achieved prior to your own term in office.

What could be easier?

If Obama doesn't do this tonight -- after all the ruckus about the possibility? -- then that is amazingly crass. Amazingly.

WOW! It does not matter if you are for or against the war in Iraq. This should disturb anyone with half a brain.

What the issue here is the exact same questions and answers verbatim from multiple networks. Looks like Fox News, CBS and NBC to me. This video is more proof of a State run media. What a sad state our nation is in when the watch dog (Media) has become a lap dog for the government.
