Inexplicably her name is not mentioned once in any of the numerous gay history books which have been penned by supposedly notable scholars. After all, no one -- except perhaps for reputed Genovese capo Matty Ianniello -- knew more about the gay life from the 1950s through the late-1970s than Jennie Tobin, and her curious omission from the history books is nothing less than a compromise of the truth.

Same way the crack addicts who got busted in Texas over a lovers’ quarrel became “the new Rosa Parks”. One of them may have murdered the ex-lover (the guy who made the 911 call that night had a pending assault charge against his ex-boyfriend and was later murdered before the case came to trial).
