America is facing assaults from several fronts, including from our very own government. Look at this astonishing administration. It's loaded with radical homosexuals and leftist affirmative action appointees—certainly not representative of the mostly conservative America! We are also facing an invasion that has been going on for years without most of us realizing it was happening. I'm not talking about the illegal alien invasion, although that is yet another serious assault on our country. I'm talking about the invasion of Islam with its attendant mandate of conquest.
Despite what all the suicidal leftists and the beguiled, sleeping Americans would have you believe, Islam is indeed a serious threat to our republic. The very nature of this militant political ideology negates any hope that they're here to just get along. As I've said before, if there are any so-called "moderate" Muslims, they are moderate in that they are not truly educated about the actual teachings and purposes of Islam, or they are only fair-weather practitioners of Islam. I’m talking about the real Islamists, the ones who take their ideology quite seriously and will use any means to spread Shariah law.
A very interesting session took place last weekend at World Net Daily’s Taking America Back Conference in Miami. A panel discussion on Islam was being held, and an unnamed attendee stood up and said,
"I propose a moratorium on Islamic immigration and mosque construction in the U.S., until the Quran is scrubbed of its passages that are incompatible with our Constitution."
WND reports that the audience responded with applause.
However, the people leading the panel, which included Alan Keyes and William Murray of the Religious Freedom Coalition, delivered a gentle rebuke to the audience. According to Drew Zahn, writing for WND,
"'The moratorium would be forever,' stated William Murray, chairman of the Religious Freedom Coalition, warning the audience that asking Muslims to scrub their scriptures was unreasonable.
Keynote speaker Alan Keyes took admonition of the audience one step further.
'One word of caution,' Keyes said. 'We get into a defensive position as Americans because we have forgotten our own roots.'
Reminding those assembled for his speech the night before – in which he contended America owes its liberties, prosperity, rights and democratic republic government under the Constitution to dependence upon and submission to God as declared in the Declaration of Independence – Keyes asserted that any immigrants of any faith who come to America's shores should find a land brimming with irresistible, life-changing freedom, enabled by the principles of Christianity.
'If we're in a situation where we're afraid to have Muslims come to our nation,' Keyes stated, 'it is because we have forgotten that when they get here they're supposed to find a society based upon God.'
He continued, 'The U.S. is not a fortress intended to put up battlements around a Christian enclave. Christianity's message is to spread the gospel, not contain it. … We shouldn't be afraid, we should be eager. It would save us the trouble of having to go over there to evangelize them. That's the spirit that founded this country in the first place.'”
Here is the trickiest situation in the world! As a Christian, I know Mr. Keyes right, but as a lover of America I also know that Islam is hell-bent on forcing our country to submit to its anti-freedom, anti-Constitutional agenda of Shariah law. The shady character behind the proposed Ground Zero mosque, Feisal Rauf, and ones like him, have treacherous intentions against America. I don't care what kind of screeching that statement elicits from the left, because I know it's true. More and more bad reports are coming out about Rauf almost daily now.
In an article on Andrew Breitbart's Big Peace website, Nonie Darwish writes,
"‘Bridge builder’ Feisal Abdul Rauf of the Ground Zero mosque, has been exposed not as a man of goodwill, but as a cunning and calculating stealth jihadist who supports the creation of an Islamic State, ‘The Ummah’, right here in America.
Rauf gave an interview on June 20th, 2006 in which he spoke of his game plan for achieving an Islamic State without borders, which in his mind has previously existed and should have continued to exist, if not for Western interference in the last century.”
Ms. Darwish goes on to quote some of Rauf's illuminating and borderline delusional statements from the interview, and then she wraps up the article with this,
“Faisal Rauf is the typical double-faced Islamist who speaks from both sides of his mouth. Even his book has one ‘nice’ title in English to fool the West, while in Arabic it advocates Sharia from Ground Zero. While claiming that his mission is non-political, just community building, his interview not only exposed him but more importantly, exposed Islam’s goals and the fact that ‘moderate’ Islam works in perfect harmony and in conjunction with radical terrorists.
This man is dangerous, but what is more dangerous is our State Department who has been facilitating the agenda of a clearly megalomaniacal jihadist.”
This man is just one of a vast network of Islamists who have invaded our country and have disguised their intentions. The creeping Shariah is spreading across our land and must be stopped. Michael Carl, writing for WND, quotes Bryan Fischer, policy analyst for the American Family Association,
"’Every single mosque is potentially a training and recruiting center for jihadism. We know that 80 percent of the mosques in America are built with Saudi money. The Saudi Arabian government is sending education materials to these mosques that teach them to spill the blood of infidel Christians and Jews.
‘That means that 80 percent of the mosques in America are inculcating and disseminating this totalitarian anti-Semitic ideology. I've seen estimates that there may be as many as 3,000 mosques in the United States. That means that perhaps 2,400 of them are preaching this kind of ideology.’"
Now, back to that tricky situation I mentioned earlier—since America is a glowing bastion of religious freedom, how do we deal with an enemy who is hijacking that very freedom and using it as a shield against criticism and discovery of their subversive intentions against our nation? And make no mistake—these Islamists are all about treachery. This is a very serious situation within the United States.
Personally, I would love to be able to put a moratorium on any Muslim immigration or mosque construction in America, but then there’s that religious freedom right popping up again. Even though I know the Islamists are scheming against our country, what can we do about it? Do we just lie down and let our Constitution be steamrolled by these Middle Eastern throwbacks from the dark ages? I don’t think so. What must happen first is that we educate ourselves and our family and friends about the true nature of Islam and Shariah law. There are many resources on the Internet and many informative books you can buy and read—especially the ones written by former followers of Islam who can attest first-hand about that evil ideology. Robert Spencer has resources on his website, JihadWatch.org, as does Brigitte Gabriel at ActForAmerica.org.
Second, we must pay close attention to our own communities, and be aware of what the Islamists are up to where we live. They are encountering more and more resistance from residents in American cities where they try to erect their mosques. Let your city council and zoning boards hear from you on the issue when Islamists try to infiltrate your community. Don’t be silent any longer.
More and more Americans are becoming wise to what the Islamists are truly about and to the creeping spread of their detestable, unconstitutional Shariah law right here in America. We know the Islamists desire to destroy our country from within, and we simply must not—will not—let that happen.

We need a moratorium on ALL immigration. Immigration is our of control and we are NOT screening people that come here legally - PROPERLY. Out immigration rules need to be ACTED on and TIGHTENED UP. Illegals MUST be deported as well. In fact fine the hell out of employers for harboring ILLEGALS and that problem will subside. It's an easy problem to solve. What we need is some people with courage to make it happen.
What most people don't want to acknowledge is the political aspect of Islam. The socio political aspect are also part of Islam. Sharia Law is simply the LEGAL arm of Islam. To be a Moslem you must also endorse the LEGAL aspect of Islam. Sure there are cafeteria style Moslems but how many times do you hear them speaking out against this?

When Baby Boomers were children it was Moslem. The American Heritage Dictionary (1992) noted, “Moslem is the form predominantly preferred in journalism and popular usage. Muslim is preferred by scholars and by English-speaking adherents of Islam.” No more. Now, almost everybody uses Muslim.
According to the Center for Nonproliferation Studies, “Moslem and Muslim are basically two different spellings for the same word.” But the seemingly arbitrary choice of spellings is a sensitive subject for many followers of Islam. Whereas for most English speakers, the two words are synonymous in meaning, the Arabic roots of the two words are very different. A Muslim in Arabic means “one who gives himself to God,” and is by definition, someone who adheres to Islam. By contrast, a Moslem in Arabic means “one who is evil and unjust” when the word is pronounced, as it is in English, Mozlem with a z.

Journalists switched to Muslim from Moslem in recent years under pressure from Islamic groups. But the use of the word Moslem has not entirely ceased. Established institutions which used the older form of the name have been reluctant to change. The American Moslem Foundation is still the American Moslem Foundation (much as the NAACP is still the NAACP—the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People). I know that. That is why I said what I said. It is a political/military movement wrapped in bathrobes. The bathrobes do not make it a religion, but a lot of people fall for it.
The Quran isn't going to be scrubbed of its passages that are incompatible with the Constitution any more than the Bible is. The problem isn't the Quran so much as the people and the system that considers it "holy."
As for the questions, my answers are "yes" and "yes." But I'd ask one more question: Should we destroy/eliminate the mosques that are already here? (My answer is "yes" here too.)

Castro is letting private enterprise happen. He has acknowledged that Communism isn't working. So forget the bombing there! I'd bar ALL TRADE and AID for North Korea and Venezuela. Let them realize, like Cuba is, that Communism doesn't work.
