Dinesh D'Souza Talks about "The Roots of Obama's Rage
Dakota Voice ^ | 10/1/10 | Bob Ellis

Author Dinesh D’Souza has a new book out entitled The Roots of Obama’s Rage.

In brief, the book is about Barack Obama’s youth and formative experiences that ideologically made him the man he is today. You may recall a recent column by D’Souza which provided just a teaser of what may be found in the book.

This series of videos (below) made by D’Souza provide some glimpses of what you’ll find in the book. Like D’Souza, Obama lived a great deal of his life off the U.S. mainland–even in foreign countries. D’Souza grew up in India and came to the States when he was 17. Both of them are about the same age, graduated college the same year and married in the same year. (I would add that while D’Souza lived in a completely different country for his first 17 years, he has a fantastically greater grasp of and appreciation for what America is than does Obama.)

This guy was on Beck yesterday (the TV show at 5pm) and was awesome. Maybe it’s on YouTube by now, not sure. Must see.

Dinesh and Beck are so smart, but they have blinders on with regard to the Long Form BC. I just don’t get it.

I’m currently reading this book, and it explains Obama’s actions much more than just calling him a Socialist. As the book notes, Obama is an anti-Colonialist, and as we know, this makes this guy a huge threat to this country.

I really believe this guy has nailed who obama is to a tee. I’m 65 pages into it, and what this guy has to say really does scare me.

Not trying to sound like I’m hawking books, but this is a must read! I guess this is why the Obama adminstration trashed it before it even came out!

Yes, this is where I part ways with Mr. D’Souza and Beck.

:::::::::::::

Why do you think he had the bust of Churchill taken out of the Oval Office upon moving in? The British came/were into where his father lived, and probably where he was born....the guy is so filled with hate, that does make him very dangerous. Too bad the Congress does not have the guts to remove him from office.

Yep, you’re exactly right! And as Mr. D’Souza notes, this is why he most likely dissed the Queen with the iPod, and the bogus DVD’s for the Prime Minster.

The book also gets into Obama’s treatment of Afghnaistan, disarming the United States, and his hatred of rich people, and how this plays into his anti-Colonialist view of the United States and all other Western cultures.

While i disagree with Mr. D’Souza’s dismissal of Obama’s Citizenship issue, his book definately nails Obama more accurately than just calling him a Socialist.

From the Cashill article in AT who again states Ayers was the writer of "Dreams".

D'Souza cites "Frantz Fanon" as one of "Obama's acknowledged intellectual influences." What he overlooks is that in "Fugitive Days", Ayers misspells Fanon's first name as "Franz," exactly as Obama does in "Dreams".

Also on the anticolonial front, both Ayers and Obama misspell in the same fashion the site of the South African massacre, Sharpeville.

Well, he sure has no problem availing himself of riches in this country and taking everything he can. A sick, twisted hypocrisy that is ruining our country and everything it stands for — which is his agenda. Clearly. He MUST be slowed in November, and totally thrown out in January 2013.

I had a talk with Dinesh a few years ago where we discussed the origin of Al Quida’s hatred of America. It was after he had given a speech in Yuma, Arizona. We unsurprisingly agreed. It is always valuable to be able to get inside your opponents mind and see things from his viewpoint.

Was listening to D’Souza being interviewed on a Louisville radio station when I pulled into Walmart this AM. Hesitated until he was finished, as I got out of my car the guy next to me got out of his....and said “You were listening too, Isn't he and Beck fabulous....

To make a long story short while picking up some water a lady mention how bad things were, we got into a discussion on Beck (Her family are recently converted “D”s....Two people in the books department were looking for Sousa book and we got into a discussion...and then in the check out another lady said “they” were independents but something had to be done to stop what was going on in DC...Had I ever listened to Beck?

Now I'm not one to share my political views with strangers....BUT from the multiple encounters in a half hour trip to Walmart, the country is talking about Beck and D’Souza.....USA is listening.....

...what this guy has to say really does scare me.

Amen to that! obama demonstrates daily the wisdom behind our Constitution's NBC requirement and why a President's divided loyalty is so dangerous.

The handful of people responsible for his getting by that requirement should be mauled by the full wrath and fury of American justice...then let the court systm decide what to do with whatever is left.

Rage is also the “tell” of a personality-disordered individual.

NPD’s fluctuate between two diametrically opposed false self images. Rage is the outlet, the vented stroke upon the tensioned string.

False image #1 arises from toxic shame (see Bradshaw), related to abandonment-issues, sexual abuse, childhood interruption of “identity”, and shouts; “I AM....bad, unworthy, etc.”

(for most ‘normals’ - we were bad, we did a bad thing, we grow from introspection, shame, guilt - but we ARE NOT that thing. We move beyond it. Bettered.)

False image #2 arises as a construct to cover, hide, and obfuscate the effects of #1.
(see; “The lady doth protest too much, methinks.”)

Don’t know EXACTLY what’s behind Beck’s position against the BC controversy. I’d bet they have never discussed it. But for openers, I’m sure that Dinesh and Glenn BOTH know that neither one of THEM has the clout to DO anything about it. Remember this?

God grant me the strength to change the things I can;
The grace to accept the things I can’t;
And the wisdom to know the difference.

I heard a rumor that SCOTUS is now quietly looking into Zero’s bonafides. Most of them, including Anthony Kennedy are still highly P.O’d about Zero’s lying smackdown he made in the State of the Union speech in January, where the camera showed Chief Justice John Roberts mouthing “Not true!” under his breath in reply to Zero’s lie.

I can only hope they take him down.

Yes, but I fear there are far too many who still think BenitObama is just fine. These are the people whose main source of political info is John Stewart’s show.
