Democrats Behind Tea Party Cyber Attacks?

Speculation is rife that Democrat activists or even the Obama administration itself may have been responsible for an attack which brought down a prominent Tea Party website right as the organization targeted was running a major fund-raising drive and on the day after Obama directed the Pentagon to attack “cyberthreats” within the United States.

The FreedomWorks website was attacked at 6:55am yesterday morning as the organization’s server was penetrated and completely wiped out by a “sophisticated hacker” on the very day of the group’s donation drive to support Tea Party candidates running in the imminent mid-term elections.

The attack also coincided with an endorsement by radio host Glenn Beck and the subsequent down time cost the group an estimated $80,000 dollars in lost donations.

“We think the idea was to take our site down until after the election,” Kara Pally, web developer for FreedomWorks, told the Wall Street Journal. “This was politically motivated.”

As long as FreedomWorks remains pro-amnesty, they won’t get a cent from me anyway.

I bet those bitches were the ones who caused my dishwasher to bone out tonight.

All complex systems are prone to random failure, likely when the need for the system matters most. Such complex systems are also subject to random disruption by a not so complex intellect with a bit of clever code and malice.

The government spooks could not find their ass with both hands and a flashlight. I doubt they targeted a remote needle in a stack of needle site because Glen Beck pisses off the one.

I'll be pro-amnesty when someone can demonstrate that it consists of chain-gang residency enforcement, proof of native language competency, abolishment of any border baby provisions, and full restitution of all taxpayer-funded social services support. And that's AFTER the damned fence is built - complete with concertina wire and anti-personnel mines!!!!!!

"But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: for men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away, for his name is Obama."

It doesn't take a sophisticated hacker to delete files on a web server. It's usually an angry kid with a few downloaded scripts.

The government spooks could not find their ass with both hands and a flashlight.

If you are talking about the Dem Pols, you are correct. If you are talking about the "netroots", they are nuts but technically capable. If you are talking about the "real spook" techies (NSA, CIA, DOD contractors) you are very wrong.

I just went to http://www.freedomworks.org/ and it’s working fine. This “Beforeitsnews.com” looks like a poor internet wariation of the supermarket tabloid format — with little more than concocted hysteria pawned off as “news”.
