Democrats at DEFCON 1: Is Christine O’Donnell now leading in internals?
HillBuzz ^ | 10/26/10 | hillbuzz

...

But, Democrats are ferociously attacking CoD as hard as they attacked Scott Brown in Massachusetts. If she is so far behind, what is the point in beating up on this woman?

This is anecdotal, but I think I know why they are doing this…jusr like with Hottie McAwesome there are internals showing O’Donnell ahead.

Today I talked to a friend ftom Team Hillary who is a big Dem fundraiser. He told me that for the last week or so the DNC has been at DEFCON 1 leaning HARD on the rainmakers because they are terrified of a CoD win in Delaware.

The problem is some internal poll that apparently shows that a high percentage of Democrats early voting are voting straight ticket Republican instead…they are Democrats voting against Democrats.

We should enjoy reading this very much.

I personally would like to have a real poll to look at.

The TCJ polls do not count as real polls. The Tea Party Express poll does not automatically count as a real poll. It could, but Tea Party Express did not give enough details about the poll they talked about in their Sunday email.

Something to note: Christine O'Donnell often gives a shout out to Hillary Clinton whenever it seems appropriate. Christine is most certainly trying to win the votes of Hillary Clinton supporters. If it's working, it's working.

I’m not getting my hopes up too high, but can you imagine after they called her the “gift that keeps on giving?”

OK, here’s what I don’t get.

0’s approval rating is down to 37%, it’s lower ever, and Coons has all but said he’ll be a rubber stamp for this 37% approval president.

Why on earth would Delawareans vote for a Senate candidate who would follow the policy of a president who has a sub-basement approval rating?

Not only is it bad for Coons (he’d be a one term Senator) but more importantly, of course, it’s bad, VERY BAD, for the state of Delaware and our entire nation!

If O’Donnell wins, I am SO tuning in to Chris Matthews’ show on election night for the endless weeping and gnashing of teeth.

here’s what i think and wonder- there’s got to be a reason coons the commie came out last week and said he supported extending the Bush tax cuts for the rich and it has nothing to do with his belief it will help the economy or part of his broader economic strategy- so what gives????

I’ll be watching too. On the night Scott Brown was elected, MSNBC’s coverage was much more entertaining to watch than Fox’s.

Hill Buzz (and this is why these guys were created) is saying what I said in 2008 - Dems should have voted against Obama for the good of their party and the country in 2008.

McCain sucked big time and is a Dem anyway. I know a few moderate middle aged Dems and they are terrified. They saw 60 Minutes. i Think a lot of them are hitting the reset button.

The Dem Party NEVER should have let the Chicago/Islamic/Black Panther Party/SEIU/ACOR/LaRZA/CAIR wing take over. McCain is a POS but he would have sunk Obama in 2008.

I could have sworn they would have pushed the “reset” button in 2008 but they blew it.

Based on what .... exit polls? And we all know how reliable those are.

It was easy to determine months ago that if she won the primary the Democrats would be focused on her. The Democrat media hates religion. So, “destroy Christine, mock Christine, all Christine all the time” was going to be their plan. But they were bound to overplay their hand, go overboard, not to be critical, judgmental, but to just hate her. Kieran Chetry (sp?) took the “anti-prayer” position today. Yes, the media is anti-God, but the American people aren’t. Obama is unpopular nationally, which helps the Republicans, and most Delawareans aren’t anti-God.

Delaware is one seat they feel they MUST win because if O’Donnell is elected and immediately seated, she can block any Lame Duck session ram-through legislation.

I will be ecstatic if she wins, but right now I wouldn’t make any bets.

I don’t get Delaware. It is this tiny place for DuPont, credit card companies and business incorporations and George Throughgood. I mean that is about it. Lost of capitalism and they will vot for Coons?

I think O’Donnell can pull it of. Is she perfect? No. She is a citizen and not a sleazy attorney who goes to school to learn how to break the law w/o breaking it.

I wouldn’t say that Coons would necessarily be a 1 term Senator. It’s probable that it wouldn’t be a wave election for the Republicans in 2014. And incumbency does have advantages.

But Coons is not Manchin at all. Coons has not tried to separate himself from Obama the way Manchin has. (Not predicting the WV race, just saying that Manchin is doing better than one would expect in a state that is 60% against Obama). Christine should be able to get everybody who is against Obama. And people who are against Obama are more likely to vote this time around.

I don’t think that Obama’s favorability is as low as 37% in Delaware though.

Nonsense.

The reason the Democrats are spotlighting COD is because they believe most of the country now thinks she’s a goofball - so the left and the media are trying to use her to tar other Tea Party backed candidates. Liberals especially seem to think COD is causing Toomey damage in Pennsylvania.

There are no legitimate polls that show COD even close to Coons.

TCJ is not a real poll. Where are these TPE polls and can we see the internals?

The election is 1 week from today. I think COD will lose by at least 10. If she manages to win, it would mean a giant Republican tide is sweeping the nation. My faith in Americans will be restored, my faith in human nature will be buoyed beyond belief, and I will happily concede (along with every political strategist in the game) to have having been completely and utterly wrong.

Democrats have to be ordered to stop beating on dead horses. Soros hasn’t given the order to stop yet.
