Lisa Murkowski attacks Sarah Palin and the Tea Party, calling Alaska her state and bragging of the fact that she and her supporters were able to make their own decisions regarding who to send to the Senate. In a brief interview with Fox News Dan Springer at quarter to midnight Alaska time, Murkowski was clearly enthusiastic and in a celebrating mood. Looking energized, Murkowski saw fit to take some potshots at Palin and the organic movement of the Tea Party as a whole, casting them both as outsiders who really didnt have any business in trespassing in her state and backing Joe Miller. While her comments smack a bit of Republican establishment elitism, from her standpoint, she does have reason to brag, or, at least, be very optimistic. Shes actually on the verge of being only the second individual to win a write-in campaign for the Senate.

Shes such a biotch! Just thumbed her nose at the will of the people.
Really disappointed with Alaskans.
Hey Lisa, 60% of the voters DID NOT VOTE FOR YOU!
Voter fraud.
All the votes haven’t been counted.
Arrogant Fish Face. Gawd, this woman is annoying. Please, recount NOW and flush her down where ALL good goldfish go!!
The only place on this planet for such an unusually repulsive piece of Gods work is the US Senate.
If Murkowski did not have the LYING CORRUPT BASTARDS
in the MSM (exposed last week),
and the backstabbers in the GOP (exposed with O’Donnell),
and the vote fraud she clearly skunked,
she would not have had a snowball’s chance in hell.
It’s depressing, but there it is. Too many presumably Republican voters depend too much on the swill that Murky brings home from Washington.
But don’t limit your anger to her or the voters. If the Republican Senate had embraced Miller more thoroughly and had punished Murkowski more severely when she started this write-in campaign, things would have been salvageable.
Allowing her to keep her committee seats was a de-facto endorsement of her write-in candidacy, or, at the very least it gave the “Republican” voters that fig leaf to hide behind.
It’s an even odds bet in my mind whether she caucuses with the Dems if she wins. I think she would do it with pleasure if they offer her a committee chair.
After watching what the people in the state of Alaska did to their Governor, Sarah Palin, I was convinced that Alaska was a state I hope to NEVER EVER set foot in for any reason at all.
It seems MurCOWski is perfectly representative of their ugly mindset.
Well, judging from the fact that so many Alaskans voted for her yesterday, she probably is right. Alaska, at least a big chunk of it, may belong to her. After all, serfs vote for their master.
I’m starting to think Alaska is a lot like Hawaii.
Unwashed, uneducated and easily led as long as they are getting pie.
The majority of the vote she got are in Anchorage where most of the liberals reside.
Because she did not concede the primary election it may not be finalized until the end of November.
The Tea Party just did not have a strong enough of a base in Alaska. Blame it indeed upon Alaskans being addicted to big money and federal funds, with a distinct lack of the infrastructure for warehouse jobs its the reason so many must be on some form of program.
Unfortunately it will probably never change, there will always be a big money group having the final say so here in Alaska. And there is no easy cure for it, the only time when things had a different course a positive one FOR the people was in all truth when Sarah Palin was governor.
Thats a fact.
Meerkatski should face some deep and serious investigation, as should her fellow travellers. A good, long prison term for the corruptocrat filth would be nice.
Then, impeach imam obama.
I used to criticize Palin for quitting as Governor, now I realize that Alaska didn’t deserve her.
This doesn’t mean she wins.
There are 39% of write-in votes and 36% for Joe miller.
Not all the write-ins are for MurCOWski.
If she loses just 4% of the write-in total, Joe wins.
It’s not over yet.
