Lt. Col. Allen West is one of the most stand up guys you'll ever meet. He first came to the public eye when his interrogation of an Iraqi yielded lifesaving results even as it was a bit unorthodox. His professional handling of that incident put him on a track to run for Florida's 22nd District House seat, a race he won handily despite the left's unhinged attacks upon him.
West ran a clean campaign in Florida's 22nd. He avoided over-the-top attacks on his opponent and did not indulge fits of name-calling. This is not to say that he soft-pedaled his opinions on just how wrong the Democrats were as he sought to delineate the policy differences between himself and the left he was battling. But West did campaign with a serious tone and an even-tempered demeanor. He was not an arm waver, he did not indulge flights of fantastic conspiracies, nor did he employ vile attack ads in his race. Pointed rhetoric? Yes. Obscene, wild-eyed, foaming at the mouth attacks? Not at all.
With that said, why does Politico seem to think that Allen West is on track to become the right's version of the despicable Alan Grayson, also a Floridian?

Politico was set up to boost Hillary’s chances to become President. It will put out hit pieces on Republicans to further the cause. Hillary is best friends with George Soros and thinks being called a “Progressive” will keep people from realizing that she is just another Communist using Saul Alinsky’s “Rules for Revolution.”
They don’t like West because they don’t like honest politicians.

West didn’t Aimlessly wander off the plantation, he realised what the plantation was early in his life and promptly marched directly away from it.
How they can compare this honorable Army Officer to Grayson is ludicrous. They will however come after him primarily because he is Black Conservative Republican and that they cannot tolerate.
Apparently the folks over at Politico do not recognized a real man.

Ridiculous however Politico liked Grayson so they will like West. Be prepared for all positive news on West. YEA!!!!!
Each and every one of you are correct.
West is an honorable man. That alone invalidates any comparison to Grayson.
Politico is filled with nothing but link-bait articles consisting of juicy headlines and vacuous fourth-hand quotes from anonymous sources.
The National Enquirer is a far more solid news source.
All that happened was that somebody hacked Politico’s site and posted something they wrote after far too much alcohol.
Politico needs better site security if such trash can be posted without their knowing about it.

Alan West is an exceptional man.
He spoke at the Free Republic Convention back on Sept 12, 2009.
Anyone who would “go through hell with a gas can” for his men is the kind of leader I want!
