Some of the comments that followed that video were ridiculous. People were saying that her parents shouldn’t be pushing their views on her. I’m sure that none of *those* parents ever push *their* views on their own children. No, they just pretty much keep their mouths shut whenever any controversial topics come up.

Considering the little girl’s statement that 115,000 babies are aborted each DAY means that 41,975,000 abortions in 1 year. That’s 41.9 Million babies aborted.
Way off. Using the nominal range of ages for fertile women leaves about 56 million women who could be pregnant in the US. That means that 75% of all women of child bearing age would be pregnant EVERY YEAR.
The girls estimate of annual abortions in America is ridiculous.
That may be correct for global unborn babies intentionally killed. Remember, the People’s Republic of China (huge) has a policy of killing excess babies, especially girls, before their births. Such best exemplifies the respect of the Chinese Communist Party for the rights of women.
The 41+million she referred to were in the world as a whole, which she clearly stated.

41 million is the global number. She states, and I’ve found to be true in my own research on a column I wrote in college, that approximately 1 million abortions are done in the U.S. every year.
The numbers are right/feasible, you just misunderstood :-)
We are indeed carrying out the One Child Policy here, and it is a polity particularly against the Han Chinese who live in cities.
People who live in rural areas, however, no matter Han Chinese or Minorities, are actually allowed to give birth to a second kid. So, the reason why girl babies are aborted there is mainly due to the uneducated parents’ preference to boys, which has nothing to do with the communists’ lacking in respect for women’s rights.
But of course, the communists lack in respect for human beings on a whole here.
Good catch, there would be way too many tired men out there to keep the country running.
