A written complaint has been filed against the group One America Votes by a conservative blogger in western Washington, alleging violations of campaign laws.
Stefan Sharkansky made the allegations in a written complaint to the Washington State Public Disclosure Commission last Friday, and noted it on his blog, Sound Politics, on Monday.
In the complaint, Sharkansky alleges the group did not register with the Public Disclosure Commission and did not report any receipts or expenditures, even though, "the group was clearly raising and spending massive sums to intervene in state election campaigns".
Sharkansky writes the group is not registered with the FEC, and while the group may be protected under the recent Citizens United case, it is not exempt from Washington State regulations.
During the campaign, illegal immigrants connected with the organization canvassed neighborhoods for Democrat Patty Murray. Murray won her re-election bid by over 100,000 votes.
The complaint sent to the PDC notes that:

...and in the end nothing will come of violating campaign or election law in Washington State. It is the home of legalized liberal fraud.
