Video: Berwick Evades Reporters Question If Obamacare Will Redistribute Wealth

CNS News‘ Matt Cover went to the Capitol in hopes of getting answers from Donald Berwick, Obama’s controversial and highly evasive recess appointment to administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid services. Berwick has yet to answer questions or hold a hearing – until yesterday.

Cover writes:

The hearing attended by Berwick, who received a recess appointment from President Barack Obama and thus bypassed the normal Senate confirmation process, was the first in which he was called upon to answer questions from senators since he assumed his post at CMS in July.

After the hearing, CNSNews.com tried to ask Dr. Berwick about controversial statements he has made about the nature of health care financing.

The question was in regards to comments Berwick made in 2008 while speaking of the British health care system in the UK in which he stated:

Of course obamacare will redistribute wealth! Those people live and breathe redistribution of wealth - from those who work hard for it to those who vote democrat.

ObamaCare was designed to be a legalized genocide of whomever the State wishes to eliminate by denying care and rationing care. It’s all about power; look at your airports today! Bend over and kiss your freedom goodbye as well as your life depending on whether you’re cost effective.

Not only will Obama Care redistribute wealth, but it does so in the most inefficient and counterproductive fashion possible.

In reality, Obama Care is going to cost massive amounts of money for very little positive impact on poor peoples quality of life and will eat up assets that could provide them direct financial support that would provide a better standard of living.

You can't eat health care, it won't put a roof over your head and keep you warm in the winter, and it won't provide you a job.

In effect, it mandates that you spend thousands of dollars a year per person for poor quality medical care that you may or may not need or want from provider who you may not want to be responsible for your health care.

This money is forcibly redirected to health care from other living expenses that have a much more direct impact on standard of living.

Money redirected to the economic black hole that Government Health Care inevitably reduces peoples overall standard of living because it steals money, lot and lots of money based on the European experience,, that would otherwise be used for housing, food, utilities, transportation and personal discretionary spending.

It is the worst method of income redistribution because it takes money from the haves and gives it to nobody but black hole of government bureaucracy
