If you had any doubt that Barack Obama’s agenda is to destroy the United States of America, but still want more proof, I offer you the announcement that his administration will not provide any offshore oil leases in the eastern Gulf of Mexico, Pacific, or Atlantic coasts…for at least seven years!
In October, a study by the Maguire Energy Institute at Southern Methodist University concluded that the reduction of shallow water oil drilling permits that followed the BP oil spill would put as many as 40,000 jobs at risk and cost the region $4.3 billion in lost wages and revenues.
At the same time, a consortium of foreign oil companies led by the Spanish firm, Repsol, working with India’s state-run Oil & Natural Gas Company and Norway’s StatoilHydro are exploring for oil off the coast of Cuba where drilling in its waters will proceed even while American and other oil companies will be denied access to vast reserves off the coasts of all of the Gulf States.
From Alaska to Florida, offshore of California or any of the East Coast States, Obama is destroying America’s energy future in the same fashion his administration has done everything in its power to shut down the nation’s coal mining industry.

Congress needs to stand together or over ride this decision. If they can’t, legally, impeach him.
Any impeachment needs to include his entire administration, Biden included.
This is certainly an”ACT OF TREASON”inasmuch as it threatens our NATIONAL SECURITY in so many ways!Obama should be IMPEACHED for violating his oath of office!!
Add to this the land in Alaska, they recently declared for polar bears so it cannot be drilled.
I’ll second this one. American energy independance is a _big_ national security issue.
Our foreign _friends_ (eg. OPEC) buy this kind of moratorium through a portionn of the many hundred billion dollars of wealth we’ve transfered to them. That money comes back here to by influence (and force) via our News media, environmental groups, lawfare, and bribery of government officials. Duh.
I suspect some other _friends_ like China buy this direction too. Why? Because it weakens USA and allows them to oversee and be part of the oil drilling off of our shores. Double duh.
Hopefully, the Republican majority starting in January...can do something to stop this BS...
Treason for Bork Obunga would be an act which harmed his own country, i.e. Kenya. The treason in the picture involves the media and demoKKKrats who PUT this piece of garbage where he is.
What you all who are saying this should be doing is do the grass roots thing. I don't care if you are Republican or Democrat. Call your congressmen or congresswomen, your governor, your mayor, your city council, every elected official and blast them. Write them. Let other people know how you feel. If the local politicians say they have nothing to do with the federal government call them liars. They are all receiving federal funding. They all have input into the workings of the federal government. Instead of bitching here (which is easy and basically the coward way out) scream at the people who are responsible for the mess.
Until there is an active and proactive complaint tsunami nothing will be done.

Example: The "Jack" DeCoster Group, the "Egg Kingpin", largest egg producer in the country, more recent poulty/salmonellae outbreak. Federal Investigations, environmental lawsuits (runoffs into waterways etc), illegal immigrant raids, found "guilty" since the early 90's (Iowa, Turner,Maine) involving poor worker/immigrant conditions, animal cruelty, marketing under another's packaging, sexual harassment..the list is long. Habitual Violator said the Iowa Attorney General and The Supreme Court. Look it up. Always pays the fines as he settles with the government and REMAINS in business selling to consumers.
So go drill as everyone else is doing. Go drill as before like Jack "Egg King-Pin" DeCoster is still allowed to go sell eggs to the American public.
Register the oil company in the Marshall Islands, for example? Paint an extended middle finger the length of the oil rig.
Recent NPR story of two researchers studying the ocean floor on a mini-sub and said they can see an oil film or a brown substance; which I picture as brown silt you kick up on the bottom of a lake. However, they admitted they did not know what an oil film collected on the ocean floor would really look like. They were guessing and reporting "live" their find on NPR radio. One was clearly not a recognized researcher, but perhaps more a student. They had no pedigrees in science..just a mini-sub the "couple" to play science on.
