Randy’s Right,Patriot Guard,Triangle Conservatives will Counter Church Protest at Edwards Funeral
Randy's Right ^ | Dec 9, 2010 | Randy's Right

Though I did not agree with Ms Edwards political views, she’s still an American and deserves a respectful funeral for her family and loved ones. Just because I disagree with someone, does not make them my enemy, just my opponent in life. We will not stand by and allow these monsters to disrespect Ms Edwards life or her family. Randy’s Right, the Patriot Gaud and NC freedom and Triangle Conservatives Unite will be there in numbers with American Flags for only one purpose. To prevent Westboro Baptist Church radicals from disrupting funeral services or harassing the Edwards family. This is the first protest the radical Westboro Baptist Church has done in North Carolina. We must make sure that these folks are aware they are not welcome in our state.

It is sad we have to do this during a funeral, but for evil to reign is when good women and men remain silent.

Thank you for doing this.

Everyone deserves to have a dignified funeral. Those vicious Westover Baptists are an abomination. They have to be put in their place.

That’s why I love conservatives - they have dignity and honor. Protecting her funeral is a good thing, regardless of our views of the slimy worm she married.

I don't give a care about Mrs. Edwards but I have no desire to see anyone's funeral protested, least not of all by these anti-Christian DNC Brownshirts who carry treasonous signage in wartime supporting the terrorists.

Aid and comfort to the enemy is treason and not protected speech.

Mrs Edwards was a military brat, as we call our kids. It’s sad that she went the lib direction, but she’s still one of us, and like someone else said, there aren’t too many in this life who deserve their funeral and their family to be disrespected at such a time.

There are probably some cold-blooded SOBs who I wouldn’t care about, but Edwards, while misled, wasn’t near to being in the class that I mean by cold-blooded SOB.

A couple of years ago, an American hero came home from Iraq to his final resting place in Martinsville, Indiana. The Westboro vermin showed up and the Morgan County Sheriff, out of deep concern for their individual liberties surrounded them with six of the biggest, tallest deputies. Were it not for their press release, you never would have known they were there.

Perhaps they will run over some shrapnel or something that could cause their tires to go flat?

Mrs. Edwards was a gracious lady deserving of a dignified funeral.

Perhaps there will be some politician/celebrities in attendance who can see first-hand the hateful antics of the Westboro group, and promote some additional solutions.

Good for you — agree or disagree with Mrs. Edwards’ views, she deserves better than to have these sick people protest her funeral.

Personally, I think it would be entirely appropriate if people decided to gather together and protest Westboro’s Sunday church services... these people deserve to have their lives made miserable as they do to the families of the men and women who give their lives for our country.

Randy

I sent your post on to my friend who is a PR and he ask me to send this note to you. FYI. Pit1

Randy ... a friend forwarded a bunch of comments about the upcoming funeral and the planned protest by Westboro Baptist Church.

I am a veteran and a Patriot Guard rider and would not stand in the flag line for Mrs Edwards or her family. I am part of the PG to stand and shield military families from the disruptive folks from KS. Though Patriot Guard members can do whatever they want down there, I honor the fallen military. Period.

I agree with you Randy. The woman’s family deserves to have their grief and privacy respected. I remember when these Westboro animals were going to try and go to West Virgina to protest at the funeral of those miners who died a few years ago in that awful mine tragedy. I remember, in fact I think I read it here that a woman who husband’s family lived in the town where the funeral was held saying “If them people come here somebodys gonna get killed’’. If these horrible people where to have it made clear to them that they’re likely to meet their maker if they show up I guarantee they’ll find a reason to be else where that day.

Patriot Guard Rider I found out can not show up as a unit unless they are asked by the family. But members will be showing up as individuals only.
I still feel sorry for Ms Edwards and her family in her fight against cancer. Cancer treatments are no freaking fun. So we will still protect her family from this evil that will be crossing into North Carolina border.
