Today, House Representative Gabrielle Giffords of Arizona was shot in the head while holding a public event in Tucson, Arizona. Another eleven were also shot; Giffords was reportedly shot at "point blank range." Giffords and those shot were then rushed to the hospital.
In the shot term, with few answers out there, the major question arises: who shot Representative Giffords and why? One startling possibility: an angry Daily Kos reader named "BoyBlue" may be behind the shooting.
In a diary written just two days ago, BoyBlue wrote a diary exclaiming that Rep. Giffords was "DEAD to me!" The headline was followed by a rambling diary that contained a passage in which BoyBlue stated that he "shot [himself] in the mouth in a serious suicide attempt" after his same-sex partner left him.
BoyBlue then went on a diatribe against Giffords, writing (with language cleaned up):
"Today, just a little while ago, I saw on Andrea Mitchell Reports (out of the one eye in can still see out of) that Giffords voted AGAINST Nancy Pelosi as our Minority Leader. Rhetorical question: I fought back from my condition and jumped in with both feet to help Gabrielle Giffords for THIS s**t???"

We’ll see who it is... it’s possible for someone else to post something on another’s Facebook account if the page was left open.

When this thing broke I was listening to Jamie Colby on my XM Radio covering it for FOX News. All I can say is, this woman is F-ing stupid!
Did you guys listen or watch her interviewing the aid to Giffords? Good grief, Colby was pumping the crap out of her for unverifiable information! You could tell from Bret Bair’s analysis, he was trying to rein her in from speculating. Then these idiots in the media (FOX included) report that this Congresswomen had been killed...ONLY TO REPORT A SHORT TIME LATER THAT SHE WAS IN SURGERY!
These media outlets (including FOX) should be sued!

A few years ago, a guy from MA was involved with a local teacher.
He killed her, her mother, and maybe a coworker of the woman.
IIRC, he shot himself in the head - twice - with a .45, and was still
able to show up the next day be arraigned looking relatively
"well", albeit, in a wheelchair.
Seems to be rampant everywhere in regards to this story.

This was an abnormal person not associated with any group IMO because no group would condone this behavior (outside of maybe Islam of course).

No, the guy in the postings seems to be much older and claims to have donated “thousands” to Gifford’s campaign. Also, there is no mention of a Jared Loughner as having donated to any campaign at opensecrets.org.
