Fox’s Geraldo On Arizona Shooting: “This Event Affects Sarah Palin’s Political Future”
Mediaite ^ | January 9, 2011 | Alex Alvarez

Posted on 01/08/2011 10:55:24 PM PST by 2ndDivisionVet

Late Saturday night, Fox News Channel’s Geraldo Rivera, discussing the Arizona Safeway shooting that left Congresswoman Gabrielle Gifford injured and six others dead with Tea Party 365 co-founder David Webb, “went there” by invoking former Alaska governor Sarah Palin. Palin’s name has been linked to reports on Saturday’s shooting thanks, in part, to the “crosshair” imagery used in her so-called “Hit List” of 20 politicians, previously posted on website “Take Back the 20.”

“However unfair the link is,” said Rivera, “I think that this event affects Sarah Palin’s at least short term political future.” He then offered his prediction that, tomorrow, Palin’s name will (still) be tied to the media’s flurry of reports on the shooting, facing “criticism and scrutiny” for a perceived link to alleged gunman Jared Loughner.

Thank you both for the post and ping. Very nice and informative post, Luke21.

“This is all very sad, and some very real people have been injured and killed by a madman in my town. Politics would never be worth such a thing. We all know that. But try telling that to rabid Democrats, who possess an amazing array of hobgoblins and straw men that they can adapt world events to on a whim, and who the truly insane, meaning those in the media, will advance reinforce, and propagate to the detriment of us all.”

That is the left without a conscience in a nutshell...and they don’t have a conscience.

That’s what makes them so dangerous.

I’ve detested Whorealdo for a couple of decades. I particularly lost any iota of respect for him or O’Really after the tirade he did on the Factor where he was debating Michelle Malkin and called her a whore and said he would spit on her if he passed her on the sidewalk. O’Really did nothing to stop the rant by the racist supporter of anything considered Latino, Gerald Rivers and Michelle M. was the one booted off of being an occasional substitute host on the Factor.

Juan Williams is a self-confessed liberal and, though I disagree with most of his BS, I can stomach most of his appearances. Others on FNC are obviously liberal fanatics, like: the homo or metrosexual Shep, Lis Weihl, Geraldo, possibly guy or two on the morning and daytime programming (like Clayton Moore and Greg Jarrod (?)).

Considering all of the liberal progressives (is that redundant?) that O’Reilly, Hannity, Cavuto, Greta and others often have on their daily programs, along with all of the liberal hosts, I really have a hard time figuring out why the left tags FNC as a far right cable channel. There is balance.

Regardless... To blame FNC or the TEA Party movement or Sarah Palin for the carnage that occurred in Tuscon just shows the mental disfunction that is rampant among liberals.

A Republican was not only shot but killed.

U.S. District Judge John Roll.

Why is no one talking about this?

Why is no one talking about the fact that Judge Roll was to preside over the trial of violent Mexican cocaine trafficker Victor Flores exactly one month from now on February 8th 2011?

The silence is deafening.

Geraldo is a media whore if there ever was one— he defines it.

Geraldo caused problems with Ruby Ridge and he was a problem in the JonBenét murder case—just to name a couple.

Geraldo is a disgusting pig and hopefully one day God will judge him just as harshly as he has judged others.

I absolutely HATE that filthy pig!

A congress WOMAN is sexy news. Plus she was a Democrat. Even sexier because it can be fit into their template narratives on "right-wing hate radio," Palin and the Tea Party.

All indicates are Giffords was the target. I heard at one of the press conferences, the judge, a Catholic, stopped by just to say hello since he was nearby. He had gone to mass and was on his way home. It appears he was just at the wrong place at the wrong time and NOT a specific target.

...and a lot of us on social networking sites were all over this from the beginning, heading the libs off at the pass. We have to use every means at our disposal to bring the truth to light.

I haven’t read all the comments below, but if anyone heard the press conference by the sheriff of Pima County, Clarence Dupnik, he all but blamed talk radio and its mean rhetoric over and over and over again in his speech! I’ve never been so disgusted. I even wrote down his name, so I’d get the spelling correctly.

“However unfair the link is,” said Rivera, "I'm going to make it."

Ever the POS, Gerry.

Geraldo is incapable of critical thought when he can score political points.

Jerry Rivers sucks A$$. I try to avoid him at all costs.

The very first reference that I hear on FOX trying to link this maniac shooter to ANYBODY and the station goes off in my house until I see that some people have been have been fired for being stupid. That would include the insufferable Jerry Rivers.

These people are certifiably insane.

Perhaps not. They will take advantage of every situation, no matter how sick and despicable it is to do so, no matter how many lies they have to repeat, no matter how crazy they might seem, to advance their liberal/socialist/marxist agenda. Useful idiots like Whoraldo are just doing their part.

Yeah, it might affect the outcome.

People might work HARDER to get her into office, just to shove it up the butt of media whores like Geraldo who are willing to exploit ANY human tragedy or catastrophic event to advance their own traitorous political agenda.

...”Same here. I take these attacks on Sarah Palin as personal attacks on me. I’ve had it with hate filled liberals and so called “concerned” Republicans. They can all go to hell”...

Their attacks on Sarah will only create the opposite effect to what they hope. She is their biggest threat and they would love to smell her political blood. True Americans will not allow that to happen. I sense a backlash already forming against the “blame the innocent if they are your political enemies” being attempted by the socialists. They will not win. Theirs is just another form of assassination.
