Brit Hume used to be a real tough conservative criticizing Clinton until his son was murdered under somewhat odd circumstances. After that, he became the Mr. Milquetoast we know today...

I was shocked at how blatant was the smear. Especially coming as it was from Fox. I am still shocked at it. It disgusts me. I don’t have any respect for Geraldo but after tonight he should not be working for any legitimate network. I’m not mad, I’m disgusted. This was trash.

If I were Sarah Palin, my first reaction would be to tell FOX to stick it where the sun don't shine. But that's just me.

Indeed it will. When people realize that she’s being blamed for something that has nothing to do with her and yet she’s still standing tall, they’ll have even more respect for her.

It's my recollection that Brit Hume's son committed suicide in 1998.

It seems obvious that the shooting will affect the immediate political future of Governor Palin and the T.E.A. groups; stupidly and unfairly, but stupidity and unfairness are endemic. Governor Palin and everyone else, at least on the right, will find it necessary to think seriously about the impact on lunatics, including those in the MSM, before saying anything possibly even remotely subject to intentional misinterpretation.

The House, which last week passed the rules necessary to have a vote to repeal ObamaCare, has postponed all legislative action for a week
A statement from Eric Cantor (R-Va.), the House Majority leader, announced tonight that all legislation scheduled to be considered by the House next week has been postponed "so that we can take whatever actions may be necessary in light of today's tragedy."
"Our nation was shocked by the tragedy in Arizona earlier today," Cantor added in his statement. "Congresswoman Giffords serves Arizona's 8th District with distinction and thoughtful leadership, and it is horrifying that she was exposed to such violence at an event designed to reach the people she represents... Along with our nation, this institution has suffered a horrible tragedy."
I don't like Mr. Rivera at all; I consider him scum. However, I see no good purpose to be served by shooting a messenger. Let those on the left rant as they will. The damage they do, and they are capable of doing much, will only be exacerbated by falling into their mode of action. A calm and deliberate response will be an instructive counter and far more useful in the long term. It may even help Governor Palin and the T.E.A. groups.

It’s my recollection that Brit Hume’s son committed suicide in 1998.

That was the spin. The surrounding circumstances were odd as I said. Plus Brit was a strong critic of Clinton - the one with the mysteriously dying ‘friends’ - the decapitated woman in the locked office et al.

The MSM is lying in unique ways on this issue.

Read the local front page news on this story and got the impression conservatives were the REAL problem. Apparently some months ago a window was smashed - around the time of an ObamaCare vote - the implication being that conservatives are equally to blame (if it was a conservative)

The fact that a liberal went nuts and killed 6 people was not the issue...not for the MSM. They know the bad guys by their political persuasion, they don't need no stinkin' facts.

That's an excellent article at hillbuzz

I'm glad someone grabbed screenshots before all that was scrubbed.

The KosKids love to save FR threads/posts that make FR look bad.

Many of the posts posted by their infiltrators here, so they can screen grab them right away even if the mods remove them within minutes.

Turnabout is fair play.

Of course they only scrub their site when it comes out they are complicit in heinous acts such as what happened yesterday.

Those scums and the dems with their bullseye targets on Arizona and other states are the ones to blame, along with the deranged shooter and the kos posts.

Jeraldo is a hateful racist who wants America turned into a banana republic.

From your hillbuzz link:

UPDATE: 302pm CST Daily Kos actually put a “bulls eye” (sic) on Gabrielle Giffords back in June of 2008:

Daily Kos targeted Gabrielle Giffords with a "bulls eye" back in June of 2008

Democrats use "bulls eye" targets extensively in their political graphics. This map shows states Democrats want targeted. Arizona, which Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords represents, is surrounded by these targets.

"A while back, he and Ann Coulter used to date."

That is a lie.

This thread has nothing to do with Coulter, why post something like that which is not true.

I particularly lost any iota of respect for him or O’Really after the tirade he did on the Factor where he was debating Michelle Malkin and called her a whore and said he would spit on her if he passed her on the sidewalk.

O’Really did nothing to stop the rant by the racist supporter of anything considered Latino, Gerald Rivers and Michelle M. was the one booted off of being an occasional substitute host on the Factor.

What happened after that was O'Reilly had Geraldo come on his show to apologize to Malkin.

He made one of those typical liberal apologies that just proved he was still proud of his hateful vitriolic comments about Michelle Malkin.

O'Reilly and Geraldo congratulated themselves on their wonderful apology segment, smirking all the way off camera.

Malkin commented on the non-apology apology and quit the position of being O'Reilly's substitute because of the discraceful pandering to the racist Jeraldo by the liberal loving O'Reilly.

By Monday, WHOREaldo will be preaching racism and saying this was cause by anti Latino sentiment and rhetoric from right wing radio and cable TV.

Regardless... To blame FNC or the TEA Party movement or Sarah Palin for the carnage that occurred in Tuscon just shows the mental disfunction that is rampant among liberals.

Mental dysfunction for sure, but it's also part of the "never let a crisis go to waste" mentality of the left. This guy was an obvious nut-job but reading other posters and following the links to the Daily Kos, it seems he was a left wing nut. Look for that to be buried by the likes of Jerry Rivers, and the template of "right wing fanatic" to emerge.

Notice how quickly they clamped down on the guys facebook page and other rants on the internet. Reminds me of how quickly Timothy McVeigh was dispatched. There's more to this story than meets the eye, and I'll bet closer inspection will reveal some radical leftist links with this guy.

Well then, post a link to your source.

No, I don’t like it when something is said with no proof.

Insane is right.

"I am thinking to myself in other countries they are laughing at us twenty four hours a day and I'm thinking to myself if we were in other countries, we would all right now, all of us together, all of us together would go down to Washington and we would stone Henry Hyde to death! We would stone him to death Wait! Shut up! Shut up! No shut up! I'm not finished. We would stone Henry Hyde to death and we would go to their homes and we'd kill their wives and their children. We would kill their families."
